Republican Reps. George Santos and Marjorie Taylor Greene fled the protest area near a New York courthouse where Donald Trump is set to be arraigned.

Greene previously tweeted that she was looking "forward to seeing everyone in NYC this morning at 10:30 AM in Collect Pond Park to protest the political persecution of President Donald J. Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government," she said. "President Trump is joining some of the most incredible people in history being arrested today. Greene told Right Side Broadcasting that she spoke with Trump on Monday. Santos left before the protest's official start time. She also said she would be conducting interviews on Tuesday from within a car while she's in New York.
