Truth be told, injuries have had a major impact on his time with the Angels since his move. Rendon can then be seen taking a swipe at the fan in question before entering the clubhouse. Interestingly, the commissioner’s office initially announced that Rendon would serve a five-game suspension along with an undisclosed fine, however, the 32-year-old later won an appeal to see length of suspension reduced.

Anthony Rendon, the star third baseman for the Los Angeles Angels, has had his suspension reduced from six to four games by Major League Baseball (MLB).

“I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to play for four games, but I respect the decision of MLB and I’m ready to move on,” Rendon said. As he was leaving the field, Rendon made contact with Ripperger, which resulted in his suspension. Rendon was initially suspended for making contact with umpire Mark Ripperger during a game against the Oakland Athletics on April 4th.
