Texas hadn't made it this far in the NCAA Tournament since 2008, and haven't been to the Final Four since 2003. Texas was the highest remaining seed.

The Miami basketball team rallied from a 13 point second half deficit to defeat Texas 88-81 and advance to their first Final Four.

The Tigers are moving on to the Final Four after surviving a 54-42 defensive battle against the Hurricanes in the Elite Eight.
