A former first-round pick and third-round pick will anchor the defense while While his departure could mean that the Eagles are working hard to retain CJGJ, it can also mean that they believe in Reed Blankenship. The only unfortunate part is that the Eagles don’t have much depth behind him on the D-Line. Losing Hargrave is bittersweet due to the production he had last season but let’s be honest, The Eagles allowed Javon Hargrave to walk but rightfully so. Jurgens was drafted to be Kelce's replacement and might have to move to guard for the time being while the future Hall of Famer remains.
The coach calls on all his charges, but Jurgens had to keep his head on a swivel. He endorsed the Jurgens pick pre-draft — not that Roseman based his decision on a player’s evaluation — but Kelce doesn’t owe his eventual successor anything. His future at center, though, will continue to be on hold. Kelce hasn’t missed a start in 149 straight games, including the playoffs, but Jurgens is seemingly ready should the 35-year old finally break down. He looked in some ways like a clone of the freakishly athletic veteran. Embracing Kelce’s return as Roseman did — he gulped a shot of mezcal with the center when told at the NFL combine nearly two weeks ago — was a no-brainer. He came closest to retiring following an exhaustive and injury-marred 2018 season, but has seemingly needed less time each year since to decide upon his return. He drifted under the radar for various reasons, but Seumalo had maybe his best season in 2022 and simply moving Jurgens into his spot doesn’t mean he’ll be as productive. The 6-foot-3, 303-pound Jurgens also doesn’t have prototypical size for the position. But the agreement reached Monday will cost somewhere in the $14 million range next season and it will delay Jurgens’ ascent. The second-year offensive lineman can both mentor under Kelce and play next to him as Isaac Seumalo’s replacement at right guard. But his blocking of Jurgens at center doesn’t have to be an either/or scenario.

The Eagles will lean on Kenneth Gainwell — who showed promise in the playoffs — to some extent in that regard. He’s also a non-factor in the passing game; Sanders ranks dead last in yards per target since 2020. The Penny signing obviously does not come without risk but there’s upside to be excited about here. He logged 57 carries for 346 rushing yards (6.1 average) and two touchdowns in five games before suffering a season-ending broken fibula. And/or they will to add some more running back talent in the 2023 Sanders is a nice player but there are times where he leaves meat on the bone as a runner. While debate raged as to whether the referee should have thrown the flag in such a crucial part of the game, Bradberry stood at his locker for 20 minutes afterward and took responsibility for the play. With much of the big money around the league already spent, Bradberry signed a one-year, $7.5 million deal with the Eagles, hoping to land a lucrative contract this offseason. He finished third in passes defensed (17) and added three interceptions and two tackles for a loss.
Bradberry has 18 career interceptions through his time with the Panthers (2016-2019), Giants (2020-2021) and Eagles (2022).

Bradberry also said he received “more lucrative offers” from a couple of other teams, but he viewed the Eagles’ run to Super Bowl LVII as a “preview of what’s to come” in regards to sustained success. I want to bring Philadelphia a Super Bowl title.” “I did enough splurging early on,” he said with a laugh. “I have belief Howie is going to do a good job of building our [defensive] core back up. “And they’re going to be really good for a long time.
