He also has the chance with 11 more games to become the Eagles’ all-time leader in games played. A pre-June 1 trade would save them less than $4 million in cap space and would leave $22 million in dead space. The Eagles did get at least one move done last week, when they reached terms with 35-year-old defensive end Brandon Graham on a one-year deal to keep the longest tenured athlete in the city in Philadelphia for the 2023 season. OverTheCap estimates their cap space at $6.6 million and that’s before they try to sign any of their big-name free agents. The Eagles simply cannot keep all of their free agents and they’re not hiding that fact. Since then, Slay has made it clear that he didn’t ask for a trade and this request is about establishing his value. “We're not capable of getting all those guys back, but we also understand we're in a good situation in terms of picks that we have going forward. The NFL's negotiation or tampering period officially begins on Monday. The Jaguars aren't slated to be major players, but could have a few targets.

It would make more sense for the team to re-sign their own guy, but the market doesn't always allow it. With the team moving on from That's exactly the position Jacksonville will be looking for throughout the offseason. He still has the pedigree to play at a high level and the expectations won't be incredibly high. That means, Cominsky, 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, would fit in the defense at a variety of positions - inside and out. Currently, Jacksonville is slated to move toward more of a hybrid-style defense in 2023. While they remain in steady talks with several of them, including Taylor and defensive lineman Arden Key, the team won't be able to retain them all. In two years with the Browns, Clowneyt accounted for 11 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and 65 total tackles in 24 starts. That isn't a ton to work with, but the team can still move numbers around to execute their plan. For example, during the 52-hour period, a team can officially talk with Jaguars right tackle Jawaan Taylor's agent to inquire about securing his services. The whole thing for us now is about the locker room, making sure we keep the locker room where we’ve got it," Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said at the NFL Scouting Combine a couple of weeks ago. However, the tampering period only exists for unrestricted free agents.

2023 NFL Free Agency: Grading all the major transactions (Touchdown Wire)

Touchdown Wire's Doug Farrar, armed with tape and metrics, grades all the impact (almost) signings in the 2023 NFL free agency period.

Powers is a mauler who can get things done at the second level, and he fits what Sean Payton needs in guards — Peyton prioritizes that position. Philadelphia got Hargrave on a three-year, $39 million deal in 2020, and that turned out to be a real steal. The only real issue with this deal is a big one — Edmunds has had one great season after four that were average to below-average. Payton’s Broncos may lose Dalton Risner in free agency, so it was out to the open market to find that guy on the open market. The 49ers signed Garoppolo to a five-year, $137.5 million extension in 2019, and Garoppolo walked through just about all of that contract, for better or worse. Only Aaron Donald and Daron Payne of the Washington Commanders, who recently signed a massive four-year, 90 million extension, will have larger contracts on a per-year basis. Garoppolo completed 67% of his passes for 690 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions as Tom Brady’s backup, which set him up for the San Francisco 49ers to trade for him in October, 2017. It’s a great deal to acquire a guy who was equally adept outside and in the slot last season. McGlinchey is a decent player, but he’s nowhere near Johnson’s level, and the fact that he’s getting at least $10 million per year guaranteed is still Top 10 money, and that money is more real. interesting move for a guy who has allowed at least five sacks and at least 28 total pressures in each of his four full seasons — his 2021 season was limited due to injury. Taylor played a handful of snaps on the side side of the offensive line last season, but they were almost entirely situational. It’s an inexact science at best, but based on tape and metrics to date, as well as how these players’ new teams are building their rosters in this free agency period, we have enough of an idea to at least opine on the transactions.

The lesson learned from all that ugliness is that Wilson needs more help around him, and the Broncos acquired plenty on Monday by [agreeing to terms](https://www.nfl.com/news/2023-nfl-free-agency-tracker-latest-signings-trades-contract-info) with right tackle [Mike McGlinchey](https://www.nfl.com/players/mike-mcglinchey/) and guard [Ben Powers](https://www.nfl.com/players/ben-powers/). [Jessie Bates III](https://www.nfl.com/players/jessie-bates/) after failing to work out a long-term deal with him over the past two years (as well as Bates playing on the franchise tag last season). Now we'll see what the market has to bear for less accomplished signal-callers looking for fresh starts, a group that includes [Baker Mayfield](https://www.nfl.com/players/baker-mayfield/) and [Jacoby Brissett](https://www.nfl.com/players/jacoby-brissett/). [trade](https://www.nfl.com/news/rams-in-talks-to-trade-cb-jalen-ramsey-to-dolphins) for an All-Pro cornerback (former Rams cornerback [Jalen Ramsey](https://www.nfl.com/players/jalen-ramsey/) is heading to Miami), a [reunion](https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-sign-quarterback-jimmy-garoppolo) for a couple ex-Pats in Las Vegas (quarterback [Jimmy Garoppolo](https://www.nfl.com/players/jimmy-garoppolo/) and head coach Josh McDaniels worked together in New England), and plenty of defensive players and offensive linemen in heavy demand. Dull WR market in NFL Free Agency makes Jacksonville Jaguars ... (Black & Teal)

However, other receivers went on to sign even more lucrative deals and Jones and Kirk are coming off career years, so it’s fair to say that the Jacksonville Jaguars got a great return on their investment. With tight end Evan Engram not going anywhere in 2023, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Jacksonville have a top 5 offense in 2023, which might not have been possible if they had waited until this year’s free agency to round out their receiver group. While it’s still early in free agency, it’s a bit surprising to see a lack of demand for wide receivers in free agency. Based on videos he’s shared on social media, he seems to be fully healthy and he’ll have plenty of time to get in football shape since training camp is several months away. This is why the Jacksonville Jaguars were smart for trading for Calvin Ridley last year. On the other hand, the wide receiver market has been slow and

Denver Broncos Free Agency Tracker: Broncos rebuild the offensive ... (Mile High Sports)

The Denver Broncos are expected to be active during NFL Free Agency. Keep up to date with this Broncos Free Agency Tracker.

Just two seasons ago the Broncos signed Mike Boone to a two-year deal. Powers, a former fourth-round draft selection by the Ravens in 2019 is set to replace Dalton Risner on the offensive line. Stidham a former fourth-round draft pick by the New England Patriots, spent 2022 as a member of Denver’s AFC West division rival Las Vegas Raiders. He averaged 46.6 yards per punt last season, pinning 30 attempts inside the 20-yard line and six touchbacks. In comparison to Dre’Mont Jones, Allen had one less sack in the same amount of games. He demonstrated several instances last season where he had some explosive runs before suffering an ankle injury. Webb will now coach Stidham behind Wilson this season. This tracker will keep you informed on the latest moves happening with the team all throughout free agency. They’ll now move in a different direction after the team signed defensive end Zach Allen. Once the clock struck 10:00 a.m. Now his wish comes true as he returns alongside Josey Jewell and Jonas Griffith at inside linebacker under new defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. Should they deal one of their top wideouts, the Broncos will surely look to pick up a receiver during free agency as well as in next month's draft. After an injury limited him to just 10 games in 2021, Jeudy returned to have the best year of his young career last season. Sutton has continued to be a productive player after coming back from a knee injury that sidelined him for nearly all of the 2020 season. A change of scenery might be exactly what Jeudy needs after a solid but unspectacular run in Denver. Hamler missed 13 games after tearing his ACL in 2021, and he missed 10 games last season after injuring his hamstring. Jeudy and Sutton were the Broncos' top-two receivers last season.

A team may carry over room from one league year to the following league year by submitting notice to the NFL prior to 4:00 p.m. . . Article 10, Section 2(a)(i) of the CBA sets forth the methodology, known as the "Cap Percentage Average," for calculating the required tender for a non-exclusive franchise player: At that point, his negotiating rights revert exclusively to his old club if by May 1 the old club tendered the player a one-year contract for 110 percent of his prior year's salary. 1-50 as of Monday, March 13). Denver Broncos 2023 NFL free agency signings - Denver Broncos ... (ESPN)

The Broncos got to work early, landing a couple of big names who could serve Russell Wilson well.

[Manhertz](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/2531358/chris-manhertz) joins the early moves in free agency by the team that proves that. With [Greg Dulcich](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4367209/greg-dulcich) expected to get most of his work in the passing game, the Broncos needed another more in-line, option for their two tight-end sets. If the Broncos keep him as a big part of their early down base looks and can keep him in zone coverages where he is reliable with his positioning when he does play in some longer down-and-distance situations, they'll limit any difficulties he has. Former [San Francisco 49ers](/nfl/team/_/name/sf/san-francisco-49ers) offensive tackle [Mike McGlinchey](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/3052885/mike-mcglinchey) [agreed to join the Broncos on a five-year, $87.5 million deal with $50 million guaranteed](/nfl/story/_/id/35851129/source-ravens-guard-ben-powers-sign-broncos). Manhertz will have a specific role and has missed just one game over the last six seasons, playing at least 340 snaps on offense in each of the last five years. Wilson, who didn't miss a game in the first nine years of his career, has now missed three games in each of the last two seasons. McGlinchey is coming off a season when he posted the second-highest pass-block win rate (89.6%) of his career to go with the highest run-block win rate (81.3%) of his career. Additionally, former [Baltimore Ravens](/nfl/team/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens) guard [Ben Powers](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4037650/ben-powers) agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal. McGlinchey is in his prime and gives the Broncos the kind of confidence on that edge they haven't had in their current playoff drought. They have struggled at the point of attack at times in recent years and have allowed far too much pressure in the middle of the field on their quarterbacks. While Rodgers’ decision appears to be remain in Green Bay or sign with the Jets, Jackson’s options seem wide open. That means that 26-year-old is free to negotiate with other franchises, but should he sign an offer sheet with another team, the Ravens will have five days to either match the deal or receive two first-round picks in return. Both Rodgers and Jackson could transform franchises from outsiders to title challengers. Elsewhere, firepower is in high demand and short supply.

Seattle has the draft capitaln and youthful upside to win bigger as a surprise playoff team with Smith fitting so well in the offense. The Giants, after not picking up his fifth-year option, believed Jones proved enough in a semi-breakout year to bring him back for considerably less than top market value for quarterbacks. White goes back to being a meh backup. Jackson, however, got undermined with the non-exclusive tag and shouldn't play without a trade or a long-term deal from Baltimore. 1 overall pick to get Justin Fields a much-needed No. as they will flip Taylor from right tackle to left tackle to protect Patrick Mahomes. His value is in line what the Rams got in return, a third-round draft pick and tight end depth. Edwards provide a big 1-2 punch upgrade, The Bears have rebuilt the middle of their defense in a couple moves with more active playmaking overall. Although he provides a big stable upgrade over the Andy Dalton-Jameis Winston-Taysom Hill mess, he's still more of a high floor vs. The Raiders needed to secure at least a bridge veteran ahead of the draft. But he’ll be a plus player with both responsibilities, making it impossible to take him off the field in “gotta have it” situations. Eight career interceptions and a responsible approach to the position will keep Thornhill in the league for a while. If not for his missing 43 games due to injury in the last three years, Thomas would be a lot higher on this list. His full-steam-ahead approach to the position makes Ya-Sin a defensive addition you’d never regret. There is a question of whether injuries have started to slow down Montgomery’s wheel. I’m aware that’s a product of playing in so many postseason games with Kansas City, but it’s still a shocking development. At this point in his career, it’s abundantly clear Juju Smith-Schuster is a classic possession receiver. The veteran just finished a 10-plus-year run as one of the NFL’s more underrated defenders. A player who gets to escape the mess Tom Brady leaves behind, David also has a lot left in the linebacking tank. He’ll catch 800-plus yards, around 70 passes, and create running room on the outside edges as a blocker. One day, Cox might be fitted for a gold jacket in Canton. Whoever adds Brown to their offensive line is mixing in a legitimate franchise cog capable of doing it all.

The 26-year-old followed up that campaign with a 2022 season in which he was a bit more efficient, catching 67 of his 96 targets for 804 yards and a career-high six touchdowns.
