Cross climbed to the top of the pod and hit a cross body on the three other women in the match. There was no pyro display to start the show. The big story going into Elimination Chamber is that Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against a former member of The Bloodline, Sami Zayn. The champ, Ford, Reed and Priest are in the pods, while Gargano and Rollins are about to start things off in the ring. The men's match for the WWE United States Title is up next. Cross is a true force, using her unpredictability and the environment to her advantage. In front of family and friends, Sami Zayn’s story indicates he may be the man to get the job done.

Reigns snatches the chair back and starts to mush Uso in the face. Reigns charges across the ring for the Superman Punch but Zayn catches him in midair and delivers an exploder suplex. However, Jey Uso enters the ring and stands in between Reigns and Zayn. Reigns stands in the middle of Uso and Zayn now. Ford just delivered a front-forward flip on Theory on one side of the ring and another onto Rollins on the opposite side. KO puts Uso threw a table with a popup powerbomb and then leaves a groggy Reigns for Zayn to blast with a Helluva Kick! Reigns went for a Superman Punch that Zayn avoided and ended up hitting the referee instead. Zayn went to the corner and then did Roman’s locked and loaded pose before hitting him with a Superman Punch. Reigns barked at Zayn and then threw him to the ground. They got to their feet and Zayn threw punches at Reigns and then ran the ropes and knocked him down. The bell rang and then Zayn smiled and jawed at a stone-faced Reigns from across the ring. Theory eventually stood up and then Ford performed a flip dive onto him and then ran back and hit a flip dive onto Rollins on the other side of the ring. Zayn fired chips at Reigns and then ran the ropes, but Reigns dropped him with another uppercut. Back inside the ring, Zayn threw a punch at Reigns, who no-sold it, and then dropped Zayn with a punch. Gargano entered the ring and then hopped over the ropes and spiked Theory with a DDT on the way down. The fourth entrant was Damian Priest, who put Gargano down with a big boot and then worked over Rollins with kicks and a punch. Edge returned to the ring and went for a spear, but Balor beat him to the punch with a sling blade clothesline. Lesnar started to fade and then came back to life and tried to power out of the hold.

The Street Profit made the most of his moment. Goldberg was the only other man to dominate Lesnar at this level, and this current feud has parallels with that angle. The Empress of Tomorrow needs to be treated like a top star. While Asuka is a three-time WWE women's champion, she has not come off as a top title contender most of the past year. This next month will tell a story of a dangerous woman finding her edge again fighting one of the longest reigning women's champions in history. Back in the ring, Phoenix and Edge hit Balor with a Shatter Machine to score the win. Reigns then hit Zayn with the chair several times before hitting a spear and covering until one of the previous referees slid into the ring to count the fall. Zayn threw Reigns for the ring and hit Jimmy with a Helluva kick before turning around into a Reigns spear for another near-fall. Zayn followed up with his own Superman punch and a Helluva kick for a tremendous false finish, with Reigns kicking out at the last possible fraction of a second. Ford remained down after being eliminated, bringing several referees and officials to the ring and leaving the door to the Chamber open and allowing Logan Paul to run in, hit Rollins with a Buckshot Lariat and a stomp before Theory to hit A-Town Down to retain his title. Phoenix attempted to hit Phoenix with a Con-chair-to using the ring steps, but Phoenix escaped to hit a Glam Slam outside the ring. Rollins hit Ford with a stomp onto the platform outside the ring, allowing Theory to steal the pinfall to leave Rollins as the last challenger remaining. Lesnar would hit a second F-5 and go for a third, but Lashley escaped and hit his second spear of the match. Edge and Phoenix both locked in submissions but Mysterio tossed brass knuckles in to the ring for Ripley for the save. The next elimination quickly followed as Natalya locked Asuka in the sharpshooter but was hit by a Carmella superkick, allowing Carmella to score the pin and leaving the match down to Asuka, Carmella and Rodriguez.
