Is Grant Gustin In The Flash Movie? (Screen Rant)

The Flash's trailer confirms that Barry Allen will unveil the DC multiverse, but does that mean that Grant Gustin's Barry will appear in the film?

DC Comics' Flash of Two Worlds, which saw Jay Garrick and Barry Allen interacting for the first time, was a landmark not only for the DC but for superhero comics as a whole, something that could be replicated with a Grant Gustin cameo in The Flash. This is why it was surprising to see the [Miller's Flash cameo in Crisis on Infinite Earths](https://screenrant.com/crisis-infinite-earths-ezra-miller-flash-cameo-dceu-arrowverse-canon-justice-league/), a moment that elevated not only the crossover event but the Arrowverse as a whole. While The Flash is featuring two different Barry Allens, they are both versions of the Flash character audiences were introduced to in Batman v Superman and That said, The Flash probably would not reveal all its big cameos and surprises right away, meaning that Grant Gustin could still be in the film but won’t be revealed right away. As of now, Grant Gustin is not part of The Flash movie’s official cast. That obviously increases the expectations regarding a potential Grant Gustin cameo in The Flash.

The Flash: 8 Best Villains In The DC Show, Ranked (Game Rant)

The Flash TV show has brought several memorable villains from the comics to the small screen. Here are some of the best in the show's run.

The Reverse Flash first appeared in season one of The Flash, serving as both the main threat and hiding in plain sight as Dr. The Reverse Flash is the epitome of a great villain and is the self-proclaimed greatest nemesis of the Flash, having traveled back in time to create the Flash just so that he could torture him forever. Savitar ventured back in time to reap his revenge on Barry and team Flash by killing Iris, a plot that seemed set in stone as no matter how fast he ran, the Flash could not beat Savitar alone. He sought to reset the intellect of all human beings and rebuild the world in his image. [Mark Hamill ](https://gamerant.com/mark-hamill-done-playing-joker/)reprises his role as the original Trickster and joins his son, who had taken up his mantle, in a mission to take out the Flash permanently. Among the endless sea of bad guys the Flash battles, some rise to the top as the most threatening that gave him a run for his money.

The Flash movie release date, trailer, cast, news and more (Bam! Smack! Pow!)

The Flash is expected to be featured at DC Fandome but what goods will it give us? Here is everything you need to know about the DCEU movie.

Teasing the involvement of Keaton’s Batman, Calle’s Supergirl and a second Barry Allen, it set what will no doubt be a jaw-dropping main trailer for whenever it is released. However, we do know that it will heavily take inspiration from DC’s Flashpoint narrative in which Barry Allen travels back in time to save his mother Nora, changing the timeline and resulting in a very different future. Of course, Ezra Miller will reprise their role as the DCEU’s Scarlet Speedster but they will also be joined by a multitude of familiar faces, both from DC’s past and its present. There are a lot of notable names in this cast that you will likely recognize from other DC productions. The movie has gone through a number of different iterations during its stint in “production hell” with many thinking that it might never see the light of day. [DCEU](https://bamsmackpow.com/movies/dceu/), it features Ezra Miller in the titular role as they reprise their role from previous appearances in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

The Flash: Fan Theories About the Ezra Miller-Led Film (MovieWeb)

Ezra Miller will be hitting the big screen in The Flash. Here are some fan theories about his movie.

It’s a place that exists as a shadow of the prime multiverse and is inhabited by every fear and bad decision that those who truly exist have. Fans argue that Keaton’s Batman would just appear in The Flash as an older Bruce Wayne and that he’d be training a new generation of heroes that would jumpstart Gunn’s new universe. While a lot of people might be hoping for an older Batman to come into this new DCU, it’s much more likely that Michael Keaton will be playing Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s deceased father. Some Flash fans believe that the changes will be so dramatic that this movie will erase the entire Arrowverse from the canon, as well as movies like Man of Steel, Batman v. In his announcement of the upcoming DC revival, Gunn said that The Flash would effectively reset the universe. While we’re not certain if Gunn will use the plot of The Flash as the cornerstone of his new universe, we do know that this movie will be a loose adaptation of the DC Comics event Flashpoint. We know that Gunn has big plans for a lot of Kryptonians, but we also know that actors are dropping from the DCU left and right. He could be Hunter Zolomon from the Arrowverse. And still, others believe that Barry Allen will separate this reality from the Arrowverse, effectively erasing everything from Man of Steel to Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Fans are scrambling to come up with ideas for how [The Flash will change the DCU](https://movieweb.com/dcu-the-flash-could-change-future-dcu/). Recently, some new Flash merchandise dropped that James Gunn announced in January that The Flash would be the big reset point for DC Studio’s Chapter 1 of the DCU, titled Gods and Monsters.

The Flash movie's delays and many, many controversies explained (digitalspy.com)

The Flash movie has been plagued with controversy and multiple delays since Ezra Miller was first attached to the film in 2014.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros delayed The Flash yet again, moving it back to June 23, 2023. Two additional counts against Miller were dismissed by the judge "with prejudice," including a separate traffic-related complaint. The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times." "My friend didn't have to say that," the unnamed woman recalled. However, the present timeline is warped as a consequence of his actions, so The Flash has to go back and set things right. In a bid to stay involved but still put their own spin on things, Miller teamed up with legendary comic book writer Grant Morrison to create their own pitch. This time round though, it was filmmaking duo John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein who signed on following the success of their comedy, Game Night. The Tomb Raider reboot was subsequently given The Flash's release date and then The Flash languished without a new one for another three years. [The Flash movie](https://www.digitalspy.com/the-flash-movie/) is actually going to happen after all. Amidst all this and the negative fan reaction to films like Suicide Squad and Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros hired King Arthur's Joby Harold to rewrite the script. The following year, directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were considered to helm the project following their success with The Lego Movie. until they left that movie in the middle of filming, so neither project panned out for them in the end, unfortunately.

'The Flash' Trailer Breakdown: Michael Keaton, Supergirl, and ... (Collider.com)

Barry Allen is in for the race of his life. Ezra Miller in costume as The Flash in movie Image via Warner Bros.

And when Barry asks this Batman for help, he gives a simple piece of advice: "We try not to die." "We've been waiting for you," the General growls as he steps out of his spaceship and ejects a blade from his armor. "I made a world with no metahumans, and there's no one to defend us," Barry shouts. In Flashpoint, Barry attempts to travel back through time and save his mother from being brutally murdered by his archnemesis, the Reverse-Flash. Barry has a simple answer: "Because this is the one where my mom lives." And it looks as though they're attempting to deliver one of the most epic superhero films of all time - not only does The Flash draw inspiration from the infamous Flashpoint storyline, but it will also serve as the starting point for [James Gunn and Peter Safran](https://collider.com/james-gunn-peter-safran-dc-studios-warner-bros/)'s new vision for DC Studios.

Why is Batman in The Flash Movie and More Trailer Questions ... (Den of Geek)

A film that just released its first trailer mere weeks after Warner Bros. announced the new DCU plan from DC Studios, a plan which was studiously and ...

Is this merely the Barry of a version of the timeline where Nora Allen wasn’t murdered, Henry Allen didn’t go to prison, and Barry lived a normal, un-powered life? …does this mean that Kara has also been on Earth in the “main” DCEU this entire time, just in captivity, and nobody has ever found her? There’s also one with a comics-accurate blue-and-grey color scheme, which hopefully we’ll get when the [new DCU Batman and Robin movie, The Brave and the Bold](https://www.denofgeek.com/movies/the-brave-and-the-bold-movie-explore-side-batman-always-ignored/), hits in a few years. It also appears that neither Barry has their speed powers for a chunk of the movie. We hear Barry say something to the effect that his actions created a world without metahumans. The bat-logo on it looks like a slightly stylized version of that from the The main thing you need to understand is that this movie is loosely based on the Flashpoint comic by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert, in which Barry Allen traveled back in time to prevent his mother’s murder at the hand of a mysterious super-powered killer (which Barry’s father wrongfully went to prison for). There’s even the possibility that Keaton isn’t playing Bruce Wayne at all, but instead an alternate version of Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s father, who in the alternate timeline created by the events of Flashpoint in the comics, survived the shooting in Crime Alley, and instead spent the rest of his days devoted to avenging the death of his son. While his main suit does indeed look like an updated version of the Batman ’89 costume, we get a glimpse of some of his others… But let’s start with what we know, in the “main” timeline of the DCEU where this movie begins… But really, Batman is the star of this trailer, in particular, Michael Keaton’s Batman, and there’s some fun stuff to unpack here. All we know is that at the press event where DC Studio heads James Gunn and Peter Safran announced that DCU slate, they said that The Flash “resets everything.” Gunn also praised this film as “one of the best superhero movies ever.” And the trailer?
