To make matters worse, Darcy’s ex boyfriend, Sean (Lenny Kravitz) makes a splashy chopper drop at the wedding (even though he did not RSVP). Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) are getting married in a beautiful island in the Philippines. With Jamie not around to curb her future mother-in-law, Carol’s (Jennifer Coolidge) excesses, Darcy ends up with something resembling a “condo” on her head.

Take a look, it is worth it to spend a while that is full of entertainment you probably expected. and different (just enough) in order to offer us a show that, although it is is not marvelous, is entertaining enough to give us situations that are not suprising that don’t mmake much sense and avoiding the pitfalls of romanticism. This is a comedy we were missing because of its classic spirit and above all, because it knows how to be the comedy it needs to be (we are talking about Hollywood’s golden years) and not fall into melodrama. This might be a little true in the end. Firstly, this is a funny movie with JLo running around in a wedding gown while the bride and groom fight with some criminals full of spikes on an island. The script is written by Mark Hammer.

With Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Coolidge in its cast, this rom-com needed more light-hearted moments and mush.

The audience does not get to understand her fears. That could be because the movie seems to rely more on action sequences than comedy to hold the audience’s attention. Though Lopez, with her vast experience of handling rom-coms, manages to engage the audience, Darcy’s dilemmas are not properly explored. She removes its layers and pairs the dress up with boots to be able to fight more comfortably as the armed pirates continue their attack. In an attention-grabbing stunt, Darcy’s former fiance Sean (Lenny Kravitz) arrives for the wedding in a helicopter. Combining action with romance and comedy makes the movie entertaining even though there are hardly any surprises regarding how the movie will end.

She is seen wearing it throughout the movie and even kills pirates in it. The day of the bride and groom's wedding should be the most memorable one of their lives, right?

But he won’t until he knows Darcy is safe, as she and Tom awkwardly leap into Rambo mode, fighting a guerrilla war against the pirates while continuing to argue during their down moments. Even for an action comedy, this Lopez-produced effort is inordinately skewed toward putting everything that might entice someone to watch in the trailer, beginning with the shot of Coolidge hoisting an automatic weapon to defend the wedding party. The casting switch certainly isn’t the problem, although one can quibble with the math on Coolidge playing Duhamel’s mom.
