"CalFresh benefits stretch food budgets, allowing individuals and families to afford nutritious food, including more fruit, vegetables and other healthy foods. To be eligible for the scheme you need to be a California resident and have a current bank balance of either under $2,001 or under $3,001 in the event you share your household with an individual who is aged 60 and over or a person with a disability.
