The drive went 44 yards in eight plays and took 2:47 off of the clock. Kansas wasn't able to score after starting the second half with the ball, and then Arkansas drove down for its latest touchdown. Kansas gets penalized, converts it anyway, and then Jalon Daniels scores the touchdown.

In preparation for this game many players got the attention from coaches that they may not have received throughout the season. Arkansas will play this game with a reduced roster as many players are preparing for the NFL draft or have already hit the transfer portal. Kansas did a good job of running the football all season with running back Devin Neal accumulating over 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Kansas had an excellent start to the 2022 campaign with a 5-0 record.
