NBA odds, picks, and predictions for the Golden State Warriors at Utah Jazz on December 7. NBA betting best bet and free pick analysis.
The Jazz are 14-12 to the Over this year and an even 6-6 at home. [Warriors](https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/teams/main/golden-state-warriors) following a five-game losing streak and a 3-7 start on the season just months removed from their dynasty-enriching Finals win. As a home favorite, however, the Jazz have gone 3-5 ATS. Golden State ranks among the bottom third of teams ATS at 11-14. The Jazz are amidst a downswing following a 10-3 start that shocked the NBA world, having lost nine of their last 13 games. If anything, this stretch of poor results is the perfect lure for a big win. Having a litany of scoring threats has opened up the floor for everyone involved. During this span, the Warriors have led the league in assist percentage by a wide margin, as the gap between them and the second-best mark is the same gap between the second-best mark and the 15th. They will face off against the Utah Jazz (14-12), who, after a 10-3 start, have gone 4-9 since. Curry has continued to be brilliant, and his numbers nearly mirror his 2015-2016 campaign, during which he won unanimous MVP and the Warriors broke the record for regular season wins. During that span, Thompson has averaged 22.4 points (including a 41-point outing), They are coming off a home loss to the Pacers on Monday and will now hit the road where they have struggled mightily.
The Golden State Warriors will be without Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins vs. the Utah Jazz.
Combined with the emergence of Lauri Markkanen and Utah has been one of the tougher teams to beat in the Western Conference this season. The trio joins Andre Iguodala on the injury report, leaving the Warriors very shorthanded against a Jazz team that is half-game ahead of them in the standings. Keeping players like Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson, Utah has not fully done away with their veterans.
The Golden State Warriors visit the Utah Jazz. We continue our NBA odds series with a Warriors-Jazz prediction and pick.
The Jazz are in a great position to add a win to their record thanks to Golden State sitting a number of key players. The Jazz have a blistering offense that ranks third in scoring and fifth in offensive efficiency. Clarkson torched the Warriors in their last meeting, scoring 21 points and dishing out 10 assists. Markkanen, in particular, finds himself in the midst of a breakout season. That being said, you can certainly score on the Jazz as they rank 23rd in points allowed and 25th in defensive efficiency. The issues lie on the defensive end as they rank 25th in points allowed and 15th in defensive efficiency. That being said, The Warriors do have a pair of guards who can heat up at any moment in Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole. The Jazz are 15-11 against the spread while 54% of their games have gone over. The Warriors are 11-14 against the spread while 54% of their games have gone over. For the season, Poole averages 17 PPG and 4.5 APG on 44% shooting from the field. He’s eclipsed 20 points in four of his last five games and has shot under 45% just once over that span. The Warriors haven’t done themselves any favors on the glass, ranking 21st in rebound differential and 25th in rebound rate.
With just seconds remaining in Wednesday's contest, all signs pointed towards a road win over the Utah Jazz for the Golden State Warriors.
From Jimmy's injury to the Judge false alarm to this Dubs loss. Looks like Poole was fouled twice. Tough loss for the Warriors. Kudos to the Jazz for those last plays. Klay was the most experienced vet on the floor and he should have been leading this young team on a night like this. The Warriors just lost a four-point lead in the final 7.8 seconds in Utah. [December 8, 2022] The former No. Beasley cruised down the court on a fast break after the steal before setting up Simone Fontecchio for a dunk at the rim to stun the Warriors in the final seconds, 124-123. On the next possession, Nickeil Alexander-Walker sliced through Golden State’s soft defense before finding Malik Beasley for a wide-open triple. After some theatrics and a scuffle, Clarkson was ejected on a flagrant two-foul, giving Kuminga a chance to ice the game with a pair of free throws. However, the final seconds defined a late heartbreaking loss for Golden State in Utah.
Grading Jonathan Kuminga, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and the rest of the Golden State Warriors in the team's 124-123 loss to the Utah Jazz.
DDV did a little bit of everything in this game, on both ends of the court. Wiseman made his return to the Dubs, playing in his first game since November 14, and just his second game since November 4. He was more careless with the basketball than the turnover numbers would suggest, and had a brutal and unnecessary turnover in the waning seconds. He also missed a free throw late in the game that would have helped ice the game. I was hoping Moody would get more playing time in a bench game, but no. He started the year shooting 12-for-22 from beyond the arc, but has since shot just 7-for-28. He rebounded ferociously — as is so often the case, he contributed to far more rebounds than the final tally suggests. I really enjoy watching Looney play in the games where the Warriors rest other starters, because it’s a reminder of how effective he can still be. He was pretty flat in the second half though, as Utah came out of the third-quarter gates firing and Green didn’t do much at all to stop it. That’s all I have to say on the matter. They lost in a stupid way the same day that the San Francisco Giants lost the fight for Aaron Judge after a national reporter falsely reported that Judge was signing with the Giants. On the same week that Barry Bonds was denied a spot in the Hall of Fame, the Warriors got crushed by the
