Jerry Lee Lewis was feted via figurative and literal blazing infernos onstage at the 2022 Country Music Association Awards.

"Country music is the only club I've never been kicked out of," joked King when asked about how her latest moment in the genre's spotlight. Performing in a style similar to Lewis is described by King as a "dream" scenario where she's not only able to highlight her influences but also do so with a vaunted rock act. 1 collaboration with Miranda Lambert" for "Drunk," co-hosting ABC's broadcast of CMA Fest performances, plus the single "Worth A Shot" with fellow bluegrass lover Dierks Bentley and time spent on tour opening for Chris Stapleton -- is leaning much towards being a long, fruitful partnership.
