The Detroit Pistons will take on the Golden State Warriors tonight at Little Caesar's Arena, hoping to get back into the win column.

Detroit figured some things out offensively against the Hawks, but until their defense improves, it won’t really matter. MBIII’s “minor” injury is starting to look worse than I originally expected from team reports, but hopefully he’ll be back soon, as the Detroit desperately Detroit hasn’t been covering many of these spreads, and they are eight point underdogs tonight against Golden State. Detroit wasted a career night from Cade Cunningham in the last game, as the defense was terrible and the bench (once again) put them in a big hole. The books are obviously responding to the Pistons giving up 136 points against Atlanta, but the Warriors haven’t yet found their groove and their defense should be able to hold Detroit in check, so I like the under in this one, especially considering the Warriors are on the second game of a back-to-back. The Detroit Pistons are coming off two straight losses to the Atlanta Hawks and sit at just 1-5 as they welcome the Golden State Warriors to Little Caesar’s Tonight.

Cade Cunningham nearly gets triple-double, Isaiah Stewart with a career high.

He got to the line a career-high 11 times and sank 10. Cunningham, who got a famously stingy whistle last year has double his free-throw rate from year one to year two and went to the stripe four times tonight. Former Michigan Wolverine Jordan Poole also had a big night, including scoring nine quick points in the second quarter on a series of 3s after the Pistons had stretched their lead to 19.

After initially being listed as questionable due to an ankle injury, Jordan Poole is available on Sunday against the Pistons.

Poole is coming off a 24-point performance on 10-of-20 shooting from the field with four made triples, four assists and two rebounds on Saturday against the Hornets. Through six games, Poole is averaging 15.8 points on 45.2% shooting from the field, with 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 28 minutes per game. With Klay Thompson receiving a rest day on Sunday, the Warriors are expected to start Jordan Poole on Sunday afternoon against the Pistons.
