Bucks Interested in Jae Crowder, per Report (Sports Illustrated)

The Milwaukee Bucks are the latest team to reportedly have interest in Phoenix Suns power forward Jae Crowder.

Miami is also believed to be among the current suitors for Crowder, according to league sources." Milwaukee has registered interest in the veteran forward who has remained away from the Suns’ organization as both sides work toward a trade. Crowder is heading into the last year of his contract and would be a solid addition to any team looking to add a veteran three-and-D player. "In addition to the Hawks, the Suns have recently been engaged in talks with the Bucks on a potential Jae Crowder trade, sources said. However, we may have a new landing spot for Crowder according to The Athletic's Crowder, who has been involved with Suns trade talks through the summer, mutually agreed upon his absence with the team as the two sides saw two clearly different roles for him moving forward.

Report: Bucks involved in Jae Crowder trade talks with Suns (Arizona Sports)

Suns GM James Jones said last week the team will continue to seek out trade opportunities to move forward Jae Crowder.

It’s not like Jae refuses to be a part of this,” Jones said on Oct. “To Jae’s credit, Jae’s a pro. That could change, but I’ll tell you right now we’ll pursue other opportunities.” “We just decided that for him and for us, it’s best that we pursue alternative options so both groups can move forward.” “I’ll never say never,” Jones said. 5 takeaways from Phoenix Suns blasting Los Angeles Clippers on ... (AZCentral.com)

LOS ANGELES – Clippers All-Star duo Paul George and Kawhi Leonard stood center court with the spotlight on them before their home opener Sunday.

The Rockets put Wall on the shelf last season so he hasn't played in a minute, either. Now the Clippers are working Leonard and Wall in slowly. Williams said the Suns played faster than they have ever. Before the game, Williams said having Johnson and Shamet back puts everyone in their normal spots. So Torrey Craig didn't have to come in and look to score, but scored eight himself. George chipped in 16 and Leonard posted 11 in 20 minutes as he continues to come off the bench after missing all last season with a knee injury. Jock Landale scored nine, Craig played 25 minutes, something that helps Johnson stay at the minutes Williams wants. He finished the game going 3-of-4 on 3s. Booker scored 14 of Phoenix’s 33 points in the first on 6-of-9 shooting (2-of-3 from 3). He can defend, but keeping guys in front and defending bigger bodies will be a challenge for him. Mavericks in opener) and right hip contusion (at Blazers). led the Clippers (2-1) with 22 points while John Wall added 17 off the bench.

Sunday night's home opener against the Phoenix Suns came after two uneven, but victorious road performances against the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings.

Five months later than many expected, the last two Western Conference champions will duel in the desert when the Golden State Warriors visit the Phoenix ...

The Bears will try to snap a 10-game losing streak in Lubbock that dates to 1990. A third conference loss would doom either in their effort to become one of the top two teams at the end of the regular season. After the teams spent a decade playing at neutral sites, Baylor has won the past two games played in Waco, and Tech won the last meeting in Lubbock (2020) -- with all three games decided by a field goal or less. "Again, we're going to try to hit over 100," said McGuire, a longtime Baylor assistant in his first year leading the Red Raiders. 1, and the Broncos will now be one of the teams to watch. Why not give Sandstrom the first game of the back-to-back and let Hart play the second game? And just like his first game of the year, the matchup was the second game in two nights for Philadelphia. But the trial-by-fire nature of only playing the second game of a back-to-back series is harsh. That the team has to find a way to bring the energy and put the previous night behind them. The No.2 goalie plays the second game of the series. Bethel intercepted Pickett in the first quarter to set up a Miami field goal, and Igbinoghene came down with the game-clinching pick in the end zone as the Steelers were driving with 18 seconds to go. But it certainly will motivate you to work on the things you need to work on."

Warriors vs. Suns Odds, Preview, Prediction: Suns to Cover Is Your ... (The Action Network)

In a potential Western Conference Finals preview, our betting expert shares his prediction that the Suns to cover is your best bet on Tuesday.

However, Phoenix already appears to have that area covered on the defensive end, as their opponents are shooting just 34% from behind the arc and only scoring an average of 33 points per game from three pointers, both which rank within the top 12 in the NBA. Golden State would end up losing to the Nuggets despite scoring 123 points, and that is because the defense simply hasn’t been able to hold its ground very often. Phoenix ended last season with a Defensive Rating of 106.8, which ranked third in the NBA and just behind the Warriors. That is largely due to their defensive presence in the paint. However, Phoenix has played an entirely different brand of basketball up to this point, ranking 27th in Pace (96.81). Golden State ended last year with a Defensive Rating of 106.6, ranking second in the NBA behind only the Celtics. The Warriors are getting up and down the floor at an historic rate, which has allowed them to generate an average of 110.33 possessions per game through their first three games. Phoenix and Golden State have both since gotten back on track with wins, and for the most part will both be at full-strength in what could be a preview of the Western Conference Finals. As I mentioned earlier, the Warriors enter this matchup ranking first in the NBA in Pace (110.33). Both Golden State and Phoenix enter this matchup with a record of 2-1. The Suns are a team that bring a new dimension to the game that the Warriors have not seen yet, and I expect them to slow this game down and hold the Golden State offense in check while taking advantage of their shaky defense. He scored 22 on 11-of-19 shooting. He may have the biggest night of them all. If he’s still struggling to make 3s a month from now, will opponents force the action so that Paul is left to shoot the ball? The 1-of-8 night is most of that, but still, wow. It’s been an adjustment, but Paul has said he looked forward to playing off the ball. The Suns veteran point guard is coming off a 1-of-8 effort from deep in Sunday’s win over the Clippers in Los Angeles. Paul last took eight in a game last season as he made three in a win at Brooklyn to cap a 4-0 road trip in November 2021. He was getting to his midrange and had the ball. The most he’s ever attempted in a game is 12 back in 2018-19 season with the Rockets, who were all about launching 3s under Mike D’Antoni.
