Hopkins joins an underwhelming passing attacking heading into a Thursday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints. As the Cardinals wait to learn the extent of "Hollywood" Brown's injury, they welcome back DeAndre Hopkins and traded for Panthers' Robbie Anderson.

Brown, in his first season with the club following his draft day trade from the Ravens, was enjoying the best start of his career. “Every time I see him, I’ve got a big smile on my face,” Murray said last week. Considering he hasn’t played in a game since Week 14 last season against the Rams when he suffered a sprained MCL, his return seems like a long time coming. He had 13 receptions for 206 yards and a touchdown this season.

Hopkins' suspension is officially over and it appears Matt Prater will be available to kick against the Saints.

He was reinstated to the active roster after missing six games to start the year after he tested positive for a banned performance-enhancing substance. That move was releasing kicker Matt Ammendola. The Cardinals had to make a corresponding move on the roster to accommodate his return.
