Garrett Moore is the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information as well as the final part of the inner advisory circle. Detective Abigail Baker is the primary aide to Commissioner Frank Raegan and has a lot of responsibility, which she never fails to handle perfectly. While he’s still learning what it means to be part of the family, he had a great moment with his uncles, Danny and Jamie, in the season 12 finale when he called himself by their shared last name. The youngest sibling in the Reagan family is Jamie, a Harvard Law graduate who is often referred to as the "golden boy." The character was previously the Police Commissioner and is there to offer advice to those still on the job. Fans were introduced to Eddie Janko in season 4 when she joined the police force as Jamie’s new partner. The eldest child in the Reagan family, Danny, is a seasoned detective and an Iraq War vet who always does what he has to in order to get justice. The two danced around their feelings for years until they finally took their relationship to the next level, getting married in season 9 and making Eddie an official member of the Reagan family. Donnie Wahlberg is best known as a member of New Kids on the Block. She is a New York Assistant DA, who always serves as the legal compass for the rest of her family. He runs his department the way he believes it needs to be done, not playing into politics and never playing favorites to his sons who are both in law enforcement. Television’s favorite multi-generational family of cops, who are fully dedicated to New York City law enforcement, continue to present the different aspects of the justice system and real-life situations that officers face on duty.

"Blue Bloods" star Abigail Hawk has some great ideas for her "Blue Bloods" character, Detective Abigail Baker.

And it's safe to assume longtime "Blue Bloods" fans would enjoy seeing more of that particular relationship as well. "Well, I think I would love to know more what her home life is like – even if it is just in a snapshot," Hawk stated, adding that at this point in the long-running series, Abby has been developed enough to spend a little more time with her recently injured police officer husband and her two children. And the actor didn't hesitate to answer that she'd love to see "Blue Bloods" spend a little more time exploring Detective Abigail Baker's life outside of her desk job. And of the character's life away from the job, Hawk noted there's surely no shortage of drama to explore. And with the 13th season of the beloved procedural drama just getting started, one has to wonder not when, but if "Blue Bloods" will ever end. The actor has, however, been a bit vocal of late in hoping one particular storyline for her character, Detective Abigail Baker, might be developed a little more in the future.

Is Will Estes leaving Blue Bloods due to the events of the season 13 premiere? How many reasons are there to be concerned?

Jamie was saluted by Frank and many cops as he was discharged from the hospital, a tribute to everything he did in the field. (This is a way for Jamie and Eddie to continue to work at the same precinct, rather than one of them being forced to transfer.) Since that hasn’t happened on the show just yet, he clearly survives getting shot. When Jamie first got shot in this episode, we did appreciate the sight of Danny and Joe Hill really rallying not just to help him, but to ensure the doctors and nurses gave him proper care. While Jamie does get shot in the premiere, he is going to recover without too much of a problem. Since these characters are cops, there is always that risk that someone gets hurt in the line of duty.
