Aven, a fan favorite whose relationship with Rachel ended in last Tuesday's Bachelorette episode, strides up to the stage. "Today will be the first time that I speak to Tino since he told me that he cheated on me," Rachel says. Palmer says it's the first time they've been face to face since Rachel broke off her engagement. The conversation is long, heated and a bit confusing, but Rachel makes it clear that "yes, we were going through a hard time, but never once did we ever say we are broken up, we are not engaged." "I can tell this wasn't the end of what went on," he offers. Specifically, the explosive end to Rachel's Bachelorette saga, up first in the finale.
Heading into the season-ender, dual Bachelorettes Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey each had only one suitor standing—Tino Franco and Erich Schwer, respectively.
Armed with a notebook and looking like he crammed for a big test the night before, Franco arrives in the pre-taped portion to talk things out with Recchia. While living apart and keeping their engagement a secret had caused turmoil, Recchia dropped the real bomb just before the commercial break: “He cheated on me.” “And maybe Erich can explain away those damning text messages he sent to his girlfriend just a few days before stepping out of the limo on night one.”
After 'The Bachelorette' finale, Rachel Recchia accused Tino Franco of lying about cheating, and her quote about his infidelity is hard to read.
I am looking forward to this time to myself and to be able to reflect on everything and move forward.” Recchia explained to People, “There was never ever a point in which we called off a relationship, called off an engagement, or we weren't committed to each other in my mind.” Unfortunately, that didn’t stop Franco from kissing someone else during this “rough patch.” “And I really wanted to talk to him about what happened in previous relationships: ‘Is there anything you need to tell me?’ And he told me, ‘No.’” Famous last words... “I think, in my personal opinion, it was probably going on for longer,” she said. 20 “After The Final Rose” episode of The Bachelorette, Bachelor Nation learned that the couple split after Franco cheated on Recchia. (Spoiler alert: Despite what he claimed on the show, he did not “love [her] ‘til the end of time.”) On the Sept.

The pilot said it all goes back to an unaired portion of her 'Bachelorette' breakup.
We just did the best we could and really tried to follow our hearts the entire time." To see him still in the same place, and we were both running around in the same circle again going nowhere, it really just kind of affirmed that it was never going to work out." "There are so many things that I think went on that day on top of allegations of whatever problems we were having -- just details into the cheating and how deep and intense it was emotionally and things like that," Rachel says. No matter what went down in their relationship, Rachel tells ET of Tino, "I do obviously wish him the best. As a result, the finale felt emotionally uneven, and it’s hard to say if either woman got a happy ending. He was gracious and apologetic, and Gabby noted that he had discussed the issue with her long before it went public. In comparison to Rachel and Tino, the two seem to genuinely love and respect each other. The bright spot of the evening was watching Bachelorette Gabby Windey get engaged to Erich, a 29-year-old real-estate analyst. Host Jesse invited Tino onto the couch with Rachel in the live studio, where they proceeded to have the same exact fight. Tino brought a little notebook detailing the couple’s previous fights and kept walking off to ask the producers if he could leave. Then producers flashed to a confrontation the two had in a random Airbnb in Los Angeles, which was naturally filmed for the show. Clearly, Tino did not want to participate — he was concerned about coming off as the bad guy, and he basically did. Rachel said that she and Tino were having a hard time when the show started airing — she said the words difficult and difficulties approximately 17 times — and that he cheated on her. In Mexico, the 26-year-old flight instructor was head over heels for Tino, a 27-year-old general contractor, but watching the footage back in the live studio, her face was stony and cold. But I think it was his “Hail Mary” to try and get her to not release the texts and to just end the relationship amicably. It really just is the point of the show that makes it so interesting. And we’re really excited to not be a part of a season for once [and] to watch it. Gabby: I found out with the rest of the world and it was an immediate punch in the gut — really, truly devastating. Gabby: We’re just excited to finally be released and do the little things together — go to dinner, go grocery shop, go to the beach — just the mundane things that’s always more fun with a partner by your side. Are you actually a contestant or do you just show up to say hello on the beach? And honestly, it was just so amazing to see him and we were able to talk after without microphones, so it was really nice. You alluded to some things that were said between the two of you that didn’t make it to air. Rachel: I’m so happy to have seen him, and who knows that the future is going to hold. And he did express concern of not ever wanting to do that the second we stepped off stage. So I think we just have to move forward and just really wish him the best, honestly. I have to really make peace with the fact that I just will never truly have the full answer.
Opening up. Bachelor Nation fans saw Rachel Recchia and Tino Franco find love and get engaged on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette.”.
That’s why he was getting up multiple times to try to figure it out, but then would come back and put it on me,” the former Bachelorette explained. So that’s where the problem for me is with this excuse that he thought we weren’t engaged. He went that long with this information and sat in front of me telling me I need to do all this work.” Rachel started off by saying, “He has his own story and he has the right to tell that, but Gabby, my family, and my friends know that there was never a point where we were broken up. Yes, you leave engaged and you have the ring on your finger, but you still have to take that time to date and get to know one another to see how your lives mesh in the best way possible. First it was a kiss at a party, then it was a kiss in an Uber to her house where his car was parked, so where is the story connecting?
