'Bachelorette' fans prepare for a turbulent finale: Let's take a look at ... (USA TODAY)

As fans face the possibility that 'Bachelorette' stars Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia might leave without a ring, we look at the show's success rate.

starred in Season 22 of "The Bachelor" and proposed to contestant Becca Kufrin in the the finale. Rachel Lindsay starred as the first ever Black "Bachelorette." She chose firefighter Ryan Sutter for her final rose and the two have been married now for almost 20 years. Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher recently became a Rodgers when she married her finalist in May of this year. The two married in 2014 and have two children. Desiree Hartsock was a contestant on Sean Lowe's season, before she was eliminated after the 'Hometown' dates. Trista Rehn was the first "Bachelorette," way back in 2003. Clayton was the series' most recent male lead, and sparked an uproar when he told all three of his final contestants that he was in love with them. The overall success rate for "The Bachelorette" is therefore, slightly higher than its male counterpart, clocking in at 22%. By the time "After the Final Rose", the show's reunion-style episode came about Kirkconnell and James were no longer together, however. Host Chris Harrison excused Kirkconnell's actions during an interview with "Bachelorette" alum Rachel Lindsay, and backlash over that later prompted him to step down from his longtime hosting gig. Aven was seen by many as a front-runner, but ultimately lost out after sharing he wasn't ready for a proposal – the typical conclusion on the show – and Rachel insisted she wanted someone who was.

Just who do Gabby and Rachel end up with at the end of The Bachelorete? Here is who wins The Bachelorette 2022. Warning this post contains spoilers.

In fact, fans should expect a heated reunion between the two as it sounds like the pair did not part on good terms and show no signs of reconciling. In fact, the pair are said to still be together which is something that we’ll get to see when the After the FInal Rose special airs directly after the finale. While there are two men left on The Bachelorette, both Gabby and Rachel only have one man left instead of heading into the finale with two men to choose from. It’s likely not going to come as any surprise that Tino and Erich are the “winners” of this season. As such, only Tino was left heading into finale night which should make things interesting as Gabby also only has one man remaining at a point in the season where there are typically two suitors left. 'The Bachelorette' Finale: How Did Rachel & Gabby's Season End ... (Variety)

"The Bachelorette" Season 19 wrapped up with a dramatic finale for its two female leads, Gabby and Rachel, and their final suitors, Erich and Tino.

He said he was seeing that other woman until the time he left for filming, and that he left her to go on the show. Gabby and Rachel were supposed to recap with Jesse one last time, but Gabby was alone as Rachel had disappeared with Aven. They had been seeing each other for about a month before he left for filming, and he used the show as an easy way to get out. Rachel then abandoned Tino on the couch and left with Aven. He referenced a conversation that she challenged him on — asking him if he really wanted to bring “that” up. He pulled out his journal and started quoting what Rachel had said during the premiere week; he accused her of refusing to go to therapy, threatening to return the ring and her wanting to be alone. There were conversations that allegedly happened and were unaired, and he was dangerously close to airing out their assumed dirty laundry. But between the tantrums, he tried to reconcile the relationship. He apologized and flattered Rachel, but continued to rationalize the headspace he was in that brought him to cheating. Flashing back, Gabby came to comfort Rachel after hearing Tino had cheated, and encouraged her to confront him directly. She prepared to give out her final rose and gave a passionate speech to Tino, before he got down on one knee. But prior to those rumors were addressed, viewers flashed back to Mexico where Gabby and Rachel attempted to wrap up their happy endings.

Bachelorette Finale Recap: Two Ladies + Two Men Left = Any ... (TVLine)

'The Bachelorette's' two stars already had their men picked out, but the season finale still brought plenty of drama — read our recap.

Erich knows she needs someone who’s completely there for her, and “I want to be that person for you.” And he takes the plunge, asking her to marry him — and she says yes! When he brings up again how he thought they were broken up, she gets angry, asking, “Do you want to get into that?” She hints at personal things that were edited out of their earlier confrontation (hmmm) and makes it very clear: “We were never on a break.” (Where is Ross Geller when we need him?) Tino is gasping for air here, and the live audience is about ready to throttle him by the time Jesse mercifully cuts it off. He walks out to rapturous applause, with Tino glaring nearby, and offered his sympathies to Rachel, asking her if she wants to “get out of here and catch up.” She happily says yes, and they walk off together, leaving Jesse awkwardly standing there with Tino. He cheated on me.” We cut to Rachel being consoled by Gabby, who advises her to “kick him in the [bleep]ing balls.” (Now that’s a friend!) Rachel also says Tino told her “I regret telling you,” which is… When he says she refused to go to therapy, she says that’s a lie, and they bicker back and forth for a while in ugly fashion. She hoped they’d be able to patch things up by the finale, but then Tino raised some vague concerns about “relationships from the past,” and in the end, Rachel reveals, “it didn’t really work out. On the live show, Rachel explains what happened next: “It was really great for a while” between her and Tino, but they “went through a difficult time” around the time the show premiered. It’s a sign!) It seems sweet and all, but Rachel and her family have death stares on their faces on the live show, so we know it’s all a bunch of lies. He alludes to the “scandal and betrayal” to come, hinting directly about Tino’s “indiscretions” and Erich’s “text messages.” Yikes. Rachel, meanwhile, goes to see how Tino is doing after her breakup with Aven, and he says he’s “amazing, without a doubt, per usual.” OK, this guy is way more confident than any human should ever be, but Rachel rushes right past that and tells him he’s the only guy left, and they share a flurry of happy kisses. (We did get robbed a bit by knowing who the final guys are ahead of time, didn’t we, Bachelor Nation?) She rattles off all the things she loves about him, and he tells her what they have “is never going away.” (Honestly, we can barely hear them over the rushing fountain and ominous bird screeches in the background. The (three-hour!) finale starts out on an oddly solemn note, with host Jesse Palmer breaking the silence to say he hoped for two happy endings for Gabby and Rachel, but “things haven’t turned out that way.” Uh-oh.

Beyond that, the trailer looks like there will be more buckets of tear, especially from waterworks-prone Rachel, who sure looks mad at Tino, and who talks about feeling “blindsided and betrayed.” One thing we know we can expect in the finale: the next star of “The Bachelor” will be announced! And last week’s second of the two-part episode extravaganza ended with Gabby tearfully expressing frustration with Erich saying he wanted to date her, a sentiment that didn’t send the “Let’s get engaged immediately!” message Gabby evidently wanted to hear. Going into tonight’s finale, both Rachel and Gabby are down to one guy each. Judging from the teaser for the season finale, it looks like Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey may not be leaving the show with their hearts aglow and rings on their fingers. On the one hand, this shouldn’t seem like any kind of surprise.

'The Bachelorette' Finale Recap: Did Rachel or Gabby Get Engaged? (Decider)

'The Bachelorette's dramatic Season 19 finale aired, but did Rachel Recchia or Gabby Windey get engaged to Tino Franco or Erich Schwer? We've got answers.

After Erich revealed his engagement hesitations to Gabby, the two struggled to get on the same page towards the end of Part 1 and the beginning of Part 2 of the finale. Gabby explained to the studio audience how challenging it is to maintain a relationship post-filming, and Erich addressed his DM controversy. The messages revealed that Erich broke things off with his ex to go on the show, and they also showed he thought of the reality series as more of a career opportunity than a chance to find lasting love. ABC showed raw footage of Rachel and Tino having a tough conversation during a “Happy Couple Weekend,” and Tino tells Rachel, “I messed up and I kissed another girl, but the second I did I knew I belonged with you.” He said the kiss was “the tiniest thing ever” and that it happened with a girl he started talking to before filming. During the live finale Tino walked out to a chorus of booing and apologized again. He assured Rachel the kiss was “a one-time mistake,” to which she replied, “It’s not a mistake. You made a conscious choice…” The conversation that followed was quite frankly a mess (on Tino’s part) and it ended with Rachel taking off her ring and taking a well-deserved swig of water. She told Jesse Palmer that they put in the work and she thought they were back on track, but a few weeks after they reached a good place he “brought forth some concerns about relationships from the past coming forward and alluded to some things.” Rachel explained that Tino didn’t want to tell her, but she eventually learned he cheated on her and she called it quits for good. At the end of The Bachelorette Season 19, Tino Franco proposed to Rachel Recchia and she accepted. Reality Steve explained that after Rachel called the engagement off “this is when the relationship was murky, communication was poor, and during a night out, Tino kissed another girl. The second half of the two-part Bachelorette finale and an After The Final Rose special aired back-to-back on Tuesday night, giving viewers some long-awaited answers.

"I was initially kind of fearful to explore my relationship with him, because he reminds me of the men I've dated in the past, but getting to know him, he really was such a sweet soul," Gabby said of Erich. "Today with Erich was one of the best days I’ve had so far," Gabby said in a confessional. Gabby continued, "You’re the only one left. You’ve taught me how I want to be treated and that it’s OK to ask for those things," Gabby told Erich. "I know in my heart that you’ve fought for me so much, and you love in this very secure and comfortable way.

Here's if Bachelorette's Gabby & Erich Are Still Together After His Ex ... (StyleCaster)

Are Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer still together after "The Bachelorette" 2022? Here's where Gabby and Erich are now after "Bachelorette" season 19.

“Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.” The announcement came after Chris Harrison, the former host of Bachelor Nation, confirmed in June 2021 that he had retired as the franchise’s host after 19 years. [Reality Steve](https://realitysteve.com/2022/09/01/podcast-302-interview-with-fboy-islands-benedict-polizzi/) reported on his podcast in September 2022 that Nate Mitchell, a contestant on The Bachelorette season 19 with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, was offered the role but declined. [Page Six](https://pagesix.com/2022/09/14/zach-shallcross-is-frontrunner-to-be-named-next-bachelor/) also reported in September 2022 that Zach was a frontrunner to become the next Bachelor. Erich went on his first One-on-One date in the third episode of The Bachelorette season 19, where he and Gabby went bowling. Amanda also believed that Erich’s text to her in July 2022, two months after he finished filming The Bachelorette in May 2022, was to “soften the blow” for how he ended up with Gabby on The Bachelorette. “I knew that this wasn’t that this wasn’t a reality show I could handle ‘just waiting for him on the other side.’ I made it clear that was something I would not be okay with and he said he needed to think about what to do because it could open a lot of doors. Gabby is the ex-girlfriend of both Dean Unglert from The Bachelorette season 13 with Rachel Lindsay and Blake Horstmann from The Bachelorette season 14 with Becca Kufrin. When Erich returned from The Bachelorette in July 2022, Erich texted Amanda, “I am so sorry Amanda, what I did was terrible, I don’t expect you to ever forgive me. He told me he got a call and was offered to be a contestant on the bachelorette and I was in shook he would even consider this kind of gig while we were dating. The main thing that I doubled checked on was were they still together and I was told they absolutely are.” “And that really just worked for us throughout the whole thing.” Gabby added, “I think going in, knowing a little bit about it from Clayton’s season and stuff, I feel like we both had the attitude to put each other first. We both get to have our own journeys and our own stories, but still have each other along the way.”

Meanwhile, Gabby and her guy, Erich, appear to be faring far better. Meara Isenberg headshot. Meara Isenberg.

Aven, a fan favorite whose relationship with Rachel ended in last Tuesday's Bachelorette episode, strides up to the stage. "Today will be the first time that I speak to Tino since he told me that he cheated on me," Rachel says. Palmer says it's the first time they've been face to face since Rachel broke off her engagement. The conversation is long, heated and a bit confusing, but Rachel makes it clear that "yes, we were going through a hard time, but never once did we ever say we are broken up, we are not engaged." "I can tell this wasn't the end of what went on," he offers. Specifically, the explosive end to Rachel's Bachelorette saga, up first in the finale.

'The Bachelorette' finale: Tino Franco cheats on Rachel Recchia ... (Page Six)

Tino Franco admitted to cheating on Rachel Recchia shortly after proposing to her during the "Bachelorette" Season 19 finale Monday.

She enthusiastically agreed as Franco stood up with a stunned look on his face. Franco then pulled out a journal in which he documented his post-show conversations with Recchia about her wanting to return her engagement ring, seemingly trying to place the blame on the “Bachelorette” co-lead as their relationship rapidly crumbled. As Recchia pressed Franco for more details, he shared that he kissed a woman he had met prior to going on the ABC reality series but insisted they “never went on a date.”

The Bachelorette season finale recap: But the real love ... (EW.com)

In the season 19 finale of 'The Bachelorette,' Gabby and Rachel got their happily ever afters — but things fell apart after the final rose.

"I love you, and I want to love you as long as long as you'll let me," she says. "I also went to the gym a lot," he says with a laugh. "If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere." And "I don't want to go to therapy, I don't want to talk to anybody about this." "I realized it was not a connection long-term, and it was about the same time that the show had reached out. "I was just wondering if you want to get out of here and just catch up?" "Because you were so sweet to me and you always made me so happy... "Rachel, I love you so much, and I'm going to love you until the end of time." She's mad that she had to force this information out of him, and she's mad that he immediately said, "I wish I never told you." "He's fought for me time and time and time again," she says. "I want this to work, I really do. "I need him to propose to me," says the frustrated Bachelorette.

The Bachelorette finale: Gabby and Rachel face the music as the ... (TAG24.COM)

The Bachelorette's season 19 finale was as dramatic as promised, with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia's journeys ending before the new Bachelor was ...

When asked about the "relationship," Erich owned up to his shortcomings, saying he led her on and used being cast for The Bachelorette as an easy way out of a fling he ultimately saw going nowhere. Having your feelings hurt doesn't grant you permission to cheat on your fiancé – even if it was a reality TV engagement. Shocking to no one, things didn't work out with Rachel and the walking red flag that is Tino after they left what's been dubbed the "Bachelorette bubble." With that, she'll essentially have immunity during Zach's first rose ceremony. Listen, we can all agree that Tino is probably one of the worst male contestants since the infamous Juan Pablo. It turns out host Jesse Palmer wasn't lying when he said the season 19 finale was the most dramatic one in franchise history.
