With Waddle on the sideline, Tagovailoa rolled out and threw to Gesicki in the flat for an eight-yard gain. After Hill gained three yards on a pass from Tagovailoa, Mostert picked up 11 yards on the ground, then 13 yards on a catch-and-run from the flat. Jackson faked a jet sweep handoff and took the ball up the middle of the defense for a 79-yard score. Then Tagovailoa found Waddle on the sideline for 11 yards to pick up the first down. A deep pass down the middle to Mark Andrews for 26 yards set up 1st-and-Goal on the Dolphins’ one-yard line, with Andrews catching a lob pass on the next play for the score. The drive ended with a 12-yard pass from Jackson to Demarcus Robinson for the score. After a miserable start to the game, everything is reset and the Dolphins were back in the game. Tagovailoa threw to tight end Durham Smythe for five yards on first down, then from the six-yard line, Waddle caught the ball and scored. On 2nd-and-13 from their own three-yard line, Tagovailoa looked to Waddle 17 yards down field, with the receiver catching the ball and turning it into a 59-yard gain. The Dolphins won the toss and deferred to the second half.

That set the tone for Miami's next possession, when Tagovailoa found Hill for a 60-yard touchdown to tie the game 35-35 with 5:19 left. Hill caught a 48-yard touchdown and also a 60-yard touchdown from Tagovailoa in a span of 2:28 to tie the game with 5:19 left. Tagovailoa threw four touchdown passes in the quarter and 189 yards to lead Miami's comeback. Jackson is the first player to have a 75-yard passing touchdown and 75-yard rushing touchdown in the same game. Tagovailoa tossed the game-winning touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle with 14 seconds left to complete the massive comeback -- and tie the Dolphins' franchise record with six touchdown passes in a game. The Dolphins rallied behind the big three playmakers: Tagovailoa, Waddle and Tyreek Hill -- as Miami's top two receivers caught three touchdown passes in the final quarter to help Miami pull off the upset.

The touchdown was the longest run of Jackson’s career, and it also put him over 100 yards rushing, a record 11th time he’s done that. They might have scored a TD on all four of their offensive possessions in the first half if not for a fumble near the Miami goal line. The Ravens lost that game 22-10 on their lowest-scoring night of the season. Tagovailoa was intercepted twice in the first half, but he more than made up for that. His teammates learned a lot about him, and I think he learned something about himself.” Through his first two seasons with Miami, Tagovailoa was adequate but not exactly a star. “This just shows the resiliency of our team,” Tagovailoa said.

Miami converted nine of their 13 third and fourth down attempts, and they did so without the help of any penalties. Tagovailoa tied the franchise’s record for most touchdown passes thrown in a game (six), which was accomplished by Dan Marino in 1986.
