Our NFL betting expert brings you his best Dolphins vs. Ravens predictions and picks for their Week 2 showdown, which is live Sunday on CBS at 1 p.m. ET.
While that’s promising, the Ravens are dealing with questions along the offensive line after left tackle Ja’Wuan James sustained a season-ending Achilles injury last week. Dobbins missed all of last season with a knee injury after rushing for nine touchdowns as a rookie in 2020. Jackson’s rushing ability is aided by viable threats in the passing game. Jackson was sacked four times while rushing for “only” 39 yards on nine carries in that game. Jackson knows all too well what the Dolphins will do, recalling Miami’s blitz-heavy scheme under defensive coordinator Josh Boyer gave Baltimore fits in a 22-10 victory over the Ravens last November. Jackson will face a tougher foe in the Dolphins, who benefited from a strong defensive effort en route to posting a 20-7 win over the New England Patriots last Sunday.

And they seem to have done it. Miami has scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to tie up the game. With a Raven Hail Mary attempt falling incomplete, ...
After an incomplete pass to Waddle in the ednzone, Miami had 19 seconds remaining in the game as Tagovailoa avoided the pressure and found Waddle for the touchdown and the lead. After two incomplete passes, Tagovailoa loaded up and bombed one to Hill for the 48-yard score and the Dolphins pulled to within one score. With Waddle on the sideline, Tagovailoa rolled out and threw to Gesicki in the flat for an eight-yard gain. After Hill gained three yards on a pass from Tagovailoa, Mostert picked up 11 yards on the ground, then 13 yards on a catch-and-run from the flat. Jackson faked a jet sweep handoff and took the ball up the middle of the defense for a 79-yard score. Then Tagovailoa found Waddle on the sideline for 11 yards to pick up the first down. A deep pass down the middle to Mark Andrews for 26 yards set up 1st-and-Goal on the Dolphins’ one-yard line, with Andrews catching a lob pass on the next play for the score. The drive ended with a 12-yard pass from Jackson to Demarcus Robinson for the score. After a miserable start to the game, everything is reset and the Dolphins were back in the game. Tagovailoa threw to tight end Durham Smythe for five yards on first down, then from the six-yard line, Waddle caught the ball and scored. On 2nd-and-13 from their own three-yard line, Tagovailoa looked to Waddle 17 yards down field, with the receiver catching the ball and turning it into a 59-yard gain. The Dolphins won the toss and deferred to the second half.

The Miami Dolphins beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, and fans were reactionary as ever.
It's almost as if a terrible coach was holding him back. Tua put almost 500 yrds and 6 touchdowns on Baltimore. I will not accept anymore Tua or Dolphins slander! Yea I LOVE IT Tua! I have no words for that win! [September 18, 2022]
If there's any reason to showcase why Tua Tagovailoa is the franchise quarterback in Miami, Sunday's stunning fourth-quarter comeback against the Baltimore ...
That set the tone for Miami's next possession, when Tagovailoa found Hill for a 60-yard touchdown to tie the game 35-35 with 5:19 left. Hill caught a 48-yard touchdown and also a 60-yard touchdown from Tagovailoa in a span of 2:28 to tie the game with 5:19 left. Tagovailoa threw four touchdown passes in the quarter and 189 yards to lead Miami's comeback. Jackson is the first player to have a 75-yard passing touchdown and 75-yard rushing touchdown in the same game. Tagovailoa tossed the game-winning touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle with 14 seconds left to complete the massive comeback -- and tie the Dolphins' franchise record with six touchdown passes in a game. The Dolphins rallied behind the big three playmakers: Tagovailoa, Waddle and Tyreek Hill -- as Miami's top two receivers caught three touchdown passes in the final quarter to help Miami pull off the upset.

[Rashod Bateman](http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4360939/rashod-bateman) turned into a 75-yard touchdown. He jumped in front of Hill to break up a pass, and while lying on the grass, he reached out to catch the falling ball before it hit the ground. It's hard enough to stop Waddle and Hill when they're taking short throws and running after the catch — but the game turned when Baltimore let Hill get behind the defense deep a couple of times. The Raiders fumble the ball in overtime, and Byron Murphy Jr. [Justin Tucker](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/15683/justin-tucker) kicked a 51-yard field goal with 2:18 remaining to put Baltimore ahead, but that was far too much time for Miami’s offense, which the Ravens (1-1) didn’t come close to stopping in the final quarter. The touchdown was the longest run of Jackson’s career, and it also put him over 100 yards rushing, a record 11th time he’s done that. They might have scored a TD on all four of their offensive possessions in the first half if not for a fumble near the Miami goal line. The Ravens lost that game 22-10 on their lowest-scoring night of the season. Tagovailoa was intercepted twice in the first half, but he more than made up for that. His teammates learned a lot about him, and I think he learned something about himself.” Through his first two seasons with Miami, Tagovailoa was adequate but not exactly a star. “This just shows the resiliency of our team,” Tagovailoa said.
The Miami Dolphins came from behind to defeat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday 42-38. Here's what we can takeaway from the game.
They were able to stifle their offense and walk away with a victory. The third-year quarterback threw for a career-high 469 yards and six touchdowns, also throwing two interceptions in the first half. He also threw for the fourth-most passing yards in a game in Dolphins’ history (469). With Austin Jackson placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury, Little stepped up and took on the role of protecting Tagovailoa’s blindside. Miami converted nine of their 13 third and fourth down attempts, and they did so without the help of any penalties. Tagovailoa tied the franchise’s record for most touchdown passes thrown in a game (six), which was accomplished by Dan Marino in 1986.

BALTIMORE -- — Down by three touchdowns, Tua Tagovailoa and his speedy Miami receivers raced past the Baltimore Ravens in a stirring fourth-quarter comeback ...

Nothing else Lamar Jackson could have done. He threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another 119 yards and a touchdown, including a 79-yard ...
But the unit allowed Hill to get behind them twice, for touchdowns of 48- and 60-yards. I wouldn’t pin this collapse on the inside linebacker unit as the game broke down from Tagovailoa airing it out to his wide receivers. The pass rush from last week was unrecognizable by the same group this week. It didn’t as the defense had a collapse for the ages. He threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another 119 yards and a touchdown, including a 79-yard touchdown run that should’ve put the game away. The leading rusher not including Jackson went for 16 yards.
