The NFL referees did their best to explain why the potential game-changing interception made by Asante Samuel Jr. was overturned on Thursday Night Football.

Amazon is a well-run company and it will figure it out, but the streaming service does not have the banked reps like CBS, ESPN, FOX or NBC have broadcasting NFL games. Instead, the call on the field was overturned, allowing the Chiefs to pull off the comeback bid. In the meantime, let’s just hope Justin Herbert is not hurt too bad. Samuel initially thought he picked off Patrick Mahomes on the Chiefs’ first offensive possession of the second half.
