How One Small Business Is Using Canva To Bring Its Vision To Life (Complex)

Complex Sat Down With Brooklyn Tea Owners & Founders Alfonso & Jamila Wright to Talk About Their Business, Community & Designing With Canv & Brittany Bosco.

We see ourselves carving our own path in the sectors of bottling, store franchising, and “big box” retail. We are a teeny-tiny company, but we want our design to look professional and consistent across all of our assets. “We want to use Canva to ‘punch above our weight’ from a design perspective. “Canva is a tool that we have a basic understanding of. “The ability to create professional looking, visually appealing content is key to our growth and sustainability. We listen to their needs and create fun and informative content as a response.” “We incorporate our Black identity with a lot of power but very little effort. But before the Wrights link with Bosco, they sat down with us to talk about being a Black-owned business, the importance of community, their design challenges, and how they hope to “punch above their weight class” with a platform like Canva. For daily design, we rely on our own talent and know-how, which is limited as non-designers.” As you can imagine, talented designers are expensive and we can only afford them for major projects with far reaching implications. Countless hours were spent in the Brooklyn Public Library reading up on start-ups, interior design, product design, and guides to business plan writing.” While the Wrights are multi-talented tea experts and community builders, neither are trained design experts, so branding is an area where they’d like to expand their skills.

How to Use Canva Whiteboard to Brainstorm Ideas (MakeUseOf)

Canva whiteboard is an excellent tool to help you brainstorm your ideas and organize them the right way. Here's how to use it.

You can also adjust the fonts, sizes, and more. Having read this article, you should have a better understanding of how to brainstorm successfully with the Canva whiteboard. You can then decide on the file type (e.g., PNG) and determine the size you want. You can also change the color of the text on your Canva template. To add elements to your whiteboard, click on the Elements panel. Once you’ve edited everything, you can easily export your brainstorm from Canva to your computer, smartphone, or tablet. When your elements are in place, you can start adding the text. Once you see them in the bar underneath, you can drag and drop them to your whiteboard as you please. If so, you can easily do this by clicking on the text box that you want to change. If you don’t like the colors on your template, you can easily change these. But while you can use the free version of Canva to create your brainstorm whiteboard, a paid subscription has its benefits. In this example, we will show you the processes of brainstorming for a creative endeavor you might consider.
