He finished fourth at the 2020 Daytona 500, and he picked up another top 10 at the 500 this year in eighth. Wallace also has three top fives in the last four starts at the 2.5-mile oval, including a runner-up finish in this year's Daytona 500. He's the most recent non-Ford winner at Daytona in 2020, and he led the most laps at Atlanta in March and Talladega in April, winning the former. It is the only one in the Cup Series where he has scored multiple top-five finishes, posting a trio of second-place results. He's NASCAR's hottest driver at the moment, leaving it hard to bet against him becoming a top contender once again on Saturday night. In addition, Hendrick Motorsports showed its muscle at Talladega in April, putting three cars inside the top 10. Also, take a look at which drivers are competing for a playoff spot versus those solidly in the field. Additionally, drivers can earn a point for each position they gain on the track (relative to where they start). The Blue Ovals enter with three straight wins at the track with three different drivers, a streak that began at the 2021 Daytona 500 with Michael McDowell. In addition, newly reconfigured Atlanta Motor Speedway has produced competition this year that's similar to the pack racing found at those two facilities. Due to the length and construction of the track, it is one of two ovals on the NASCAR schedule where speeds are artificially restricted. Let [Stephen Stumpf](http://www.twitter.com/Stephen_Stumpf) of [Frontstretch.com](http://Frontstretch.com) set for the race Saturday night (7 p.m., NBC) and ready to cash in with your six-driver roster.

Kyle Larson became the seventh NASCAR Cup Series driver to win two races this season with his victory last weekend at Watkins Glen.

Part of McClure's NASCAR DFS strategy also includes rostering Bubba Wallace ($7,800 on DraftKings and $12,500 on FanDuel). Blaney does have a feather in his cap this season after winning the 2022 NASCAR All-Star Race, but that doesn't factor into his potential to join the playoff field. For NASCAR at Daytona, McClure is high on Ryan Blaney ($10,000 on DraftKings and $13,500 on FanDuel). Blaney won last year's Coke Zero Sugar 400 and finished fourth at this year's Daytona 500. If you watch the in-car (camera), you can see that some rain definitely started right before they wrecked. I was obviously at the back of that pack. All of a sudden there was that shower. [Tyler Reddick](https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/auto-racing/nascar/player/48325/tyler-reddick) told NBC Sports’ Dave Burns that he wrecked just seconds after he noticed the rain. Scott Miller, NASCAR senior vice president of competition, told NBC Sports: “We were on top of the weather, monitoring with all of our turn spotters, in touch with the spotters up top, the pace car. “We knew the rain was coming,” Suarez said. Austin Dillon wins at Daytona, bursts into NASCAR Playoffs (NASCAR)

Austin Dillon avoided the Big One and scurried to the lead late, scoring a clutch win at Daytona that sends him to the Cup Series Playoffs.

The chaos began early when Blaney and others collided on Lap 31 at the exit of Turn 2, putting a sharp, early focus on the points battle. At Lap 102, Truex suffered damage in another multicar crash, receiving left-side contact from Ross Chastain after Michael McDowell spun near the head of the field. Truex fell to eighth at the checkered flag. Both drivers were involved in accidents in Sunday’s event, and Blaney seemed to suffer the more significant damage at Lap 31 that hampered his No. Blaney was sent right-front-first into the outside SAFER barrier and was significantly slowed for the remainder of the race. As a result, Ryan Blaney scored the final position in the playoff grid, edging Martin Truex Jr.
