That said, Williams may end up having two suits of armor in the sequel, with the latter receiving upgrades from Wakanda. However, it's also possible that Riri Williams' Mark 1 armor will be homemade. In addition, brief scenes of Williams creating her Mark 1 armor were also revealed. Ironheart's role in Wakanda Forever is still being kept under wraps, but signs indicate that she will have a significant role in the sequel.

A new Funko Pop! figure for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reveals the first look at Riri Williams' Ironheart armor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thorne can be seen as Riri in the first official trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, released by Marvel Studios during a mind-blowing panel at SDCC, where she is briefly seen hammering her heart-shaped logo out of a sheet of metal. The character makes her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Wakanda Forever played by actor Dominique Thorne. Before now, the only image of how Ironheart's first armor would appear in live-action was a merchandise listing showing off part of its bulky frame.

There will be more updates in the coming days regarding the production and everything. Along with the anticipated release date, the cast of this upcoming series has been revealed. Filming will also take place in Chicago and is scheduled to last until October 21. The series’ plate images and exterior establishing shots were filmed in Chicago in late May 2022. The exact release date has yet to be announced, but we do have an approximate date. Obviously, it will share the franchise’s continuity.

Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes are directing Ironheart from a script by Chinaka Hodge (Amazing Stories), who also serves as the head writer on the six-episode first season. Ryan Coogler will once again direct the feature with the core cast from the film also returning. Early Sunday, the outlet exclusively revealed all of the Funko Pop figures that will be released alongside the film.

Only time will tell when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters on November 11. With the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Funko POP revealing the first look at Ironheart's suit, it will be interesting to see if it evolves at all throughout the film. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje will have to rise up and protect their homeland from invading forces seeking to take it for themselves, including Namor and the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. This week saw the first footage from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever screened at SDCC, but now audiences are getting an exciting new look at one character's MCU debut.
