There's just a small caveat: To get the free treat, you have to be a new or current 7Rewards member or a Speedy Rewards member. The news release notes that 7-Eleven locations in Hawaii are excluded from the offer.

Two people were killed and three were wounded in shootings at four 7-Eleven locations in southern California early on Monday morning, authorities said, in a series of attacks that police believe may be connected.

He called it a “robbery that turned into a homicide.” Police also responded to shootings Monday morning at 7-Elevens in Riverside and Santa Ana — killing at least one, according to local media reports — but officials have not officially connected them to the two shootings in La Habra and Brea. Just after 4 a.m., Brea police officers were called to a robbery and shooting at the 7-Eleven on W. Lambert Road, where a man was found a man shot dead, Rodriguez said. That suspect — who has not yet been identified or detained — is accused of robbing two 7-Elevens in La Habra and Brea, then opening fire at the stores, said Brea Police Capt. Phil Rodriguez. The shooting in La Habra killed one man, who has not been identified. Two people were killed and three injured in a string of shootings at Southern California 7-Elevens early Monday — at least two of which police say were likely carried out by the same suspect.
