Guitarist Carlos Santana, 74, collapsed during a Tuesday concert in Michigan and was treated at a hospital.

The tour is set to wrap up in Tampa, Fla., on Aug. 27. The musician had reportedly been a handful of songs into his set when he sat down in front of a drum kit and collapsed backward during a performance of “Joy,” TMZ said. The 74-year-old rocker was “over-taken by heat exhaustion and dehydration” during a concert at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, about 50 miles northwest of Detroit, his manager, Michael Vrionis, said in a statement posted on the “Supernatural” artist’s website.

The legendary guitarist was reportedly suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration.

“To one and all, thank you for your precious prayers,” the guitarist wrote alongside the clip of him waving at the anxious crowd. Roop Raj, an evening anchor and reporter at Fox2 Detroit, tweeted a photo officials tending to Santana, alongside the caption: “Medical personnel on stage. Officials said that medical officials rushed to the stage to attend the 74-year-old Santana around 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Rock legend Carlos Santana fainted during a show in Michigan Tuesday, making his Friday stop in Indianapolis unknown.

“We take time to celebrate the magnificent spirit of our beloved brother, Jorge,” Carlos Santana wrote. In a video message released on social media at the time, Santana said he asked his wife to take him to the hospital because of an issue with his chest. “He profoundly regrets that this ‘speed bump’ necessitated the cancellation of his upcoming performances.”
