I think (Ime and I) would prefer to play with a little more movement. The time is now for them to make a serious run at a championship. Ime did a really good job of fitting the pieces together and creating and identity.” However from the looks of it, Washington is doing all that they can to keep Beal in D.C. On Wednesday they traded for former Net’s point guard Spencer Dinwiddie and signed him to a 3-year $62 million contract. I’m having a hard time figuring out exactly what I want Boston to do. These guys are ready to win now, but will need more around them to do so.

NBA Rumors: Miami Heat Could Land Kyrie Irving Or Bradley Beal ... (Fadeaway World)

The Miami Heat were one win away from facing the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals, but the Boston Celtics ruined their plans, eliminating them.

Miami looked like a lost team after the 2018/19 season, and they found a way to make a big move and land Jimmy Butler, who took them to the Finals the next year. It’s the dream scenario for Russ and for the Lakers, really, too, if they get another team to go along with it and come away with a player or two who actually fits.” Talking with Sean Deveney of Heavy, this executive broke down how a three-team move could facilitate an Irving or Beal move for them.

Bradley Beal odds: Celtics listed as favorites to land Wizards star ... (masslive.com)

With the upcoming NBA Draft then free agency coming up, it's going to be a busy time around the league and player transactions. And the Bradley Beal saga ...

Regardless, the Celtics were listed as favorites to land Beal this offseason, according to SportsBetting.ag, at +300 odds. There are going to be plenty of twists as Beal is reportedly going to opt out of his player option for next season. But Boston landing Beal would need to happen via trade or sign-and-trade, which would be difficult because of the Celtics’ cap situation.

Bradley Beal seems shocked: 'Wait, huh? Lol' (Deadspin)

Free-agent status was reportedly a done deal, but that was news to him.

So, it will take a miracle for the Lakers to land Beal without moving on from Davis in the process. Miami and the Heat culture have also been attached to buzz around where Beal will end up for quite some time. The Celtics’ depth made them so dangerous this season, and they’d have to dip deep into that in any sign and trade scenario for Beal. Should this be the case, it opens up plenty of options and routes for Beal to pursue. With their cap situation and James Harden looking like he’s going to receive a short-term extension, the odds of the 76ers acquiring Beal are slim. Bradley Beal was expected to be the crown jewel of free agency this offseason.

Bradley Beal appears to respond to contract report (Larry Brown Sports)

Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal seemingly responded on Twitter to a report about him not picking up his player option.

Beal said recently that he has made a decision about his future, but he is not ready to share it yet. He has yet to announce a decision, but Michael Scotto of HoopsHype said on Tuesday that a league source told him Beal will decline the option. Beal has a $36.4 million player option for next season that he is widely expected to decline.

Report: Bradley Beal opting out of Wizards contract (NBC Sports)

Wizards star Bradley Beal said he has already decided his playing future. His plan apparently included declining his $36422136 player option.

Most indicators point to Beal staying in Washington. Beal has repeatedly said he’s leaning toward staying with the Wizards. Though he has left the door open for leaving, publicly announcing before free agency even opens that he knows his plan then bolting would be a shocking heel turn. Of course, Beal can secure a multi-year payday off that $43 million starting salary – up to a projected $248 million over five years with the Wizards or $235 million over four years elsewhere.

Bradley Beal and Hoop For All Refurbish Banneker Court in D.C. ... (SLAM Online)

Bradley Beal and the Hoop For All Foundation teamed up to refurbish the historic Banneker Court across the street from Howard University.

It going to a composite sketch, a render we had, to seeing it there in person and seeing how excited the community was, it became a full-circle moment. I wouldn’t change a thing, but I wanna add some quotes; let’s throw in some more D.C. significance,’ and he just added to the artwork. They also aim to expand beyond just the D.C. area and go global with their fight against health disadvantages. Beal, the Wizards, and the players union became a part of the refurbishment after Amoo and Thomas learned he was planning to study biology at Florida before leaving the school as a one-and-done prospect. How can we put that together?’ We knew that we were gonna use the awareness colors for each of those causes, but K.B. said, ‘let me just get in my design bag, let me just start putting some sketches together. Two years prior to, Amoo and Thomas were granted a contract by the city to refurbish Banneker Courts, but the foundation had to find funding. He and I just having that understanding with each other and having our vision and knowing what we wanted to produce out of it is what allowed us to really get over the road bumps. Most of the road bumps we experienced had to do with the time of something going on, but it’s good for us to know so [that] the next time we know how we can avoid things in the future.” This summer marks a decade since Thomas and Amoo first hosted the Hoop For Hoop tournament. Since then, Hoop For All has continued to thrive in the sports and health space. “So a cause-related court can be anything that spreads awareness to a specific cause,” Thomas explains. You notice how little the details were about then to where we are now, all of the things we’ve been able to learn, the different programs we been able to put on, (and) different money we’ve been able to give away.

What Bradley Beal opting out would signal for Celtics potential ... (masslive.com)

One of the biggest subplots surrounding the start of 2022 NBA Free Agency will be the future of Bradley Beal. The long-time Wizards guard has a $36.4 ...

That’s just too high of a price to pay for a guy like Beal when you also consider the value Boston would need to give up in a sign-and-trade itself via picks and personnel. Given the salary matching that would need to be involved in a hypothetical swap, a sign-and-trade swap for Beal is likely a non-starter for Boston’s front office due to the team-building limitations it presents. The other alternative, of course, would be Beal opting out and testing the free agency waters with the possibility of signing elsewhere or moving as a part of a sign-and-trade to a new destination.

Heat Could Land Bradley Beal in 'Wink & Nudge' Trade: B/R (Heavy.com)

If the Miami Heat want to land Bradley Beal, they need to make a deal in place with the Washington Wizards before the NBA Draft.

As for his biggest fear, “If I didn’t give myself a chance to win,” Beal says. And that means you’re in a very rare position where you get to control what you do and where you go.” More simply, the Heat hunt stars and Beal fits that description.” it’s fun to be in the position.” “You could sign a five-year, $242 million deal if you stay with the Wizards,” Rooks states. But since this trade involves picks and would most likely be agreed to in wink-and-nudge fashion by draft night, we’re including it here.”
