It's possible House Speaker Nancy Pelosi inflicted a curse upon the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.

One tweet from the Speaker Pelosi account congratulated the Warriors on winning "four titles in just seven years," which is technically accurate as the team's four most recent championships came within an exact seven-year calendar period (June 16, 2015, through June 16, 2022), though most have called it Golden State's fourth title in eight years because this current run has spanned eight NBA seasons.
