In honor of Pride Month, NBC Out is highlighting and celebrating a new generation of LGBTQ trailblazers, creators and newsmakers.

“My journey of coming out and having a girlfriend has inspired so many people around the world. “I have a girlfriend who is the love of my life and who is everything to me,” Siwa told USA Today shortly after the casting announcement. When she came out on social media in January 2021, Siwa admitted in an interview with People magazine that she knew a lot of things in her life “could have gone away because of my love life.” “I was thinking that all the comments were going to be nice and supportive, and they weren’t,” Siwa said. I think this is the first time that I’ve felt so personally happy.” Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Siwa began dancing as a toddler, with her mother, Jess, the owner of a local dance studio, entering her in competitions from the time she was 2 years old.

JoJo Siwa Calls Out SYTYCD Fan Over Matthew Morrison Exit (Screen Rant)

JoJo Siwa calls out a So You Think You Can Dance fan for saying they were happy when they thought she was leaving instead of Matthew Morrison.

JoJo has been dancing her whole life and is more than qualified to be a SYTYCD judge. Other fans brought attention to the amount of hard work and passion JoJo puts into dancing and the lack of appreciation she receives for it. The former judge had completed filming for the audition rounds and choosing the 12 finalists along with JoJo and tWitch. JoJo has plenty of dance experience from her time on Dance Moms and as a finalist in Dancing With The Stars season 30. Fans jumped to JoJo's defense, with one user expressing her admiration for JoJo and telling her how much her kids have made her like her. JoJo went on to defend her position as a judge, making it very clear that she is qualified for the job. The messages crossed a line, and the unnamed contestant reported him to producers.

It seems that there’s always a new way to interpret this tough, suave masculinity that never goes out of style.” Cue the Taylor Swift song, because JoJo is serving Harry Styles by way of James Dean in these photos. Don’t worry: there’s also a personal essay to go along with these baba-LEWKS. “My deep love affair with fake nails began with an Instagram post featuring a set of mile-long acrylics,” writes Sandra Song, Paper’s contributing editor. Without further hesitation, I Googled “long press-on nails,” clicked on the first result and paid for the expedited shipping from Australia. Now I’m known as the “girl with the nails,” and it’s all because of an impulse decision to try something new.”Song also waxes poetic about the resurgence of “androgynous beauty looks.” “Think classic male Americana icons from the 1950s, whose influence can still be spotted in looks sported by contemporary pop stars.
