CBS has pulled its season finale of FBI off the air for Tuesday night after the nation's most recent mass shooting at an elementary school in Texas.

CBS' 'FBI' finale decision follows Texas Gov. Greg Abbott confirming 14 children and a teacher were killed at a school shooting in Uvalde.

“He shot and killed, horrifically, incomprehensibly, 14 students and killed a teacher,” Abbott said, referencing the death toll at the time. FBI’s finale was set to include a storyline involving a student’s possible involvement in a deadly robbery. After the Texas shooting, Abbott addressed the media and confirmed that the 18-year-old gunman is dead.

CBS has pulled the Season 4 finale of "FBI" in light of the shooting at a Texas school that saw over a dozen children murdered on Tuesday.

The organization defines a mass shooting as any incident in which four or more people are shot or killed, excluding the shooter. That gunman posted a lengthy manifesto prior to the shooting, which he also livestreamed on Twitch. He espoused racist ideology, indicating that he had planned to target the Black community. The episode has been pulled due to the fact that the storyline concerned a school shooting.

The finale's storyline involved a suspected student's participation in a deadly robbery. It's unclear whether the episode will air in the future.

Apple TV+ also canceled a red carpet event for its season two of its show “Physical,” which stars Rose Byrne, because of the shooting. The synopsis reads: “As the team investigates a deadly robbery that garnered a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal’s son, who is reluctant to cooperate.” The finale’s storyline involved a suspected student’s participation in a deadly robbery.
