The show will be the third Marvel Studios series released this year, following “Moon Knight” in March and “Ms. Marvel,” which premieres June 8. Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed the news at the Disney upfront presentation in New York on Tuesday alongside series star Tatiana Maslany. They also debuted a trailer for the series, which can be seen below. She now works as a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases.
Marvel Studios officially unveiled a brand new trailer for the She-Hulk Disney+ series.
This latest trailer offers the best look at Tatiana Maslany's transformation into She-Hulk yet, while also teasing the character's struggle and benefits of living with her newfound powers. So far, a brief teaser showing the first look at Maslany's Marvel hero and Ruffalo's Smart Hulk has been unveiled, but that's about it. It's also safe to assume that Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner is expected to have a major role in the series, with the Avenger dedicating his time to training his cousin to become a full-fledged hero.
Disney+ has released the first trailer for their upcoming She-Hulk series, starring Tatiana Maslany and Mark Ruffalo.
Well, anything’s possible in the MCU, and now it seems that the next heroine to be introduced is Jennifer Walters, the titular heroine of Disney+’s She-Hulk. The upcoming series starring Tatiana Maslany as Bruce Banner’s crime-fighting cousin received a new trailer today, and is expected to hit Disney+ on August 17. And who knows — maybe some other lawyers moonlighting as superheroes will join the She-Hulk fray, since Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock returned to the MCU in last year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. This new trailer is the first time we’ve seen any footage of the jolly green heroine since Disney+ Day in November of 2021, when we were first treated to brief footage of Jennifer and Bruce that set the comedic tone for the show, as well as gave us a glimpse of Jennifer’s slightly more graceful version of the Hulk, though this new trailer is the first time we’ve seen the emerald heroine in all her (CGI) glory.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also stars Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry hits Disney Plus on August 17th. Next Up ...
That soul searching’s likely what leads to her meeting up with Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) that somehow leads to an experiment that leaves her with the ability to transform into a hulking (and very CGI-ed) version of herself who leaps into action as a new vigilante. Because the world’s filled with so many villains committing super crimes, Jennifer’s legal skills put her in high demand, but she isn’t quite certain that’s the kind of force for justice she wants to be. In addition to the Hulks, She-Hulk’s trailer also features a handful of glimpses of longtime Hulk foe Abomination (Tim Roth), pointing to how the series will find ways to connect to the larger MCU.
The new comedy series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. The first look at ...
Jessica Gao is the head writer of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The first look at the series is nearly two minutes long and features Mark Ruffalo reprising his MCU Bruce Banner, aka Hulk role.
Alright Moon Knight, take your laughable Bri'ish accents and your gloomy tone and get out of here, it's time for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to get ...
What this trailer does mention, at least implicitly, is that She-Hulk and some (relatively) little dude who likes french fries are totally going to have sex. Speaking of superhero-based law firms (which was a plot point on Daredevil) and lawyers with superpowers (like Daredevil), there is no mention of Daredevil or the events of Daredevil in this trailer. which will hopefully be a little more palatable once you get used to it.
The She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series, starring Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, and Tim Roth, will come to Disney Plus with its first episode in August.
And adult orphans, for some reason.” The latest trailer for the upcoming Disney+ MCU show She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is here, giving us a more in-depth look at Tatiana Maslany as the super strong lawyer. That’s for billionaires and narcissists.
The Disney+ and Marvel Studios series debuts August 17.
Walters is just a woman in her 30s dealing with a transformative career and life, who doesn’t quite want the attention that being a hero would entail. When Bruce tells Jennifer to channel anger and fear to transform, she retorts that’s “like the baseline for any woman just existing!”—clever and very real. You can already tell that Maslany and Ruffalo are going to be a riot together.
Disney has revealed the full title for the upcoming Marvel series She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany, premiering on the streamer in August.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will also be the first MCU series since WandaVision to have more than six episodes. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law looks to be another fun Disney+ entry in the MCU, and it will be very interesting to see how this show connects to the larger universe as a whole. It is going to be very exciting to see her play off of Ruffalo and how their family dynamic will evolve throughout the show.
Aside for Thor: Love and Thunder, I am not more personally excited about a Marvel project than the upcoming She-Hulk series on Disney+. Today was a great.
This character wasn’t seen in the trailer, but likely is a version of either Marvel character Alexander Gentry or Roger Gocking who both went by Porcupine and wore the Porcupine armor. I also have a couple of confirmations for characters who I was able to confirm with sources the identity of in the trailer. There were a couple of images of new characters that I know people on Twitter are already guessing (correctly) but I was able to independently confirm with sources who they are. I can also exclusively share about a NEW character that is apparently also in the show. You can read more about the Wrecking Crew in the comics here. Those who follow me on Twitter will recall I posted that Wong would return for She-Hulk back in March.
The superhero comedy–which will run for 10-episodes–shows former “Orphan Black” star Tatiana Maslany joining the Marvel universe as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer ...
Despite her strength and green skin, Jennifer just wants to be a “normal, anonymous lawyer” instead of a superhero. it feels good to get a more ‘grounded’ story on the main MCU earth for a change! Many were skeptical about the special effects. Others applauded the long-awaited arrival of She-Hulk. One social media user declared her “THE NEW FACE OF THE MCU.” “I’m a little worried about the CGI for her, but outside of that it looks like it is going to be an absolute blast of a show,” one person commented on YouTube. At her job, Jennifer’s firm wants to promote her to be the face of the “superhuman law division.” But after hours, she is struggling to keep her abilities under control.
The nine-episode Disney+ legal comedy will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner who gets her own gamma green transformation ...
The Mandalorian should serve as evidence alone that Disney is more than prepared to shell out movie-level budgets for Disney+, although there's no denying this may be Marvel Studios' most ambitious project to date in terms of CGI. Although there are still three months to go before the legal comedy premieres on Disney+, so there's plenty of time for these shots to be polished before release. Marvel Studios - much like most of the movie industry - has been suffering great difficulty as of late due to VFX delays. The vast majority of people don't have the slightest idea as to how difficult of a job it is. I'm aware it is TV but the STAR WARS stuff manages, and they have the budgets to adjust." With VFX hold-ups plaguing Hollywood productions and causing delays due to the COVID-19-induced backlog, Marvel Studios couldn't have picked a much worse time for this step.
Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters in the trailer for Marvel's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The show will start streaming on Disney+ on August 17.
According to the lead of this nine-episode show, that’s a title reserved for “billionaires and narcissists and adult orphans.” Instead, Walters is still trying to live her life as a single woman in her 30s. About halfway through Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer, Jennifer Walters says, “I just want to be a normal, anonymous lawyer.” Unfortunately, that’s just not in the cards for her. We then see her carrying a man, presumably to her bedroom so they can…
There are some fresh MCU faces in Marvel's first She-Hulk trailer, and also some very familiar ones.
As for the non-powered civilians to show up in the trailer, there’s nothing much to say. It will be interesting to see what they have in store for this guy down the line. Mark Ruffalo returns as the hybrid Hulk introduced in Avengers: Endgame. Considering his arms are both normal, I would imagine the scenes with him are flashbacks and take place during the Blip. The She-Hulk transformation initially appears to be like what the Hulk was initially: fear and anger turning the person into a rage monster. Jameela Jamil will be Titania, a character introduced in the original Secret Wars event back in 1984. It succeeded in keeping Walters alive, but it also gave her the ability to become a green gamma beast. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be coming out this August with nine episodes and, looking at the trailer, it gives us a comedic, albeit down-to-earth look at what society is in the MCU.
Something is decidedly…off in many of the scenes featuring the green form of She-Hulk, played by Tatiana Maslany doing some sort of mo-cap enhanced by ...
I doubt they would go to market with an unpolished She-Hulk. I definitely think they can clean up scenes like the ones we’re seeing here before release, but if not, maybe the show gets a delay to ensure it doesn’t debut as a meme. Is this is a problem for She-Hulk as a show? Many were looking forward to seeing She-Hulk get her own series due to love of the comic character.
The new series stars Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. The show's executive producer ...
The series will have nine episodes and stars Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" follows Walters as she "navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk." The new series stars Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases.
The show stars Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as Jennifer Walters, an ace attorney who gains Hulk-like abilities– the same as her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark ...
On the other end of the show’s title card, the teaser ends with a comedic look at Jennifer’s dating life as She-Hulk. She bemoans dating in her 30s, but as She-Hulk, she gets a veritable flood of online dating matches. She’s a super-strong, super durable threat, and has established herself in the comics as a formidable rival to She-Hulk. Considering her background with supergroups like the Masters of Evil and the Frightful Four, it would be no surprise if Jamil is tapped for future appearances after her showdown with She-Hulk. There are actually two versions of this character in the comics - the first is Vincent Patilio, aka Leap-Frog. He’s an inventor who designed a powered set of “leaping coils” that nobody cared about, so he used them for crime until he got busted by Daredevil. Then his well-intentioned son, Eugene Patilio, used his father’s invention to clumsily fight crime as Frog-Man. Of all the things Eugene could have done with his life, he decides to follow his father’s webbed footsteps and put on a frog suit. She-Hulk may turn out to be a slice-of-life narrative first and a superhero action-adventure romp second, and that’s just fine. Early in the trailer, we saw a group of shadowy-looking dudes with an eclectic choice of weapons: a crowbar, a hook, and… Despite her disdain, the trailer makes it clear that superpowers and heroics are a package deal for Jennifer with a rapid-fire montage with some of the show’s costumed villains. The version we get in She-Hulk may be an amalgamation of the two, but I secretly hope it’s Frog-Man over Leap-Frog, because then that will mean there are canonically not just one, but two whole Frog-Men in the MCU. Our first real look at She-Hulk is downright smashing as she busts the wall of saw blades and rips off the door in a fury at her cousin’s frightening methods. The trailer kicks off with the Los Angeles city skyline and a voiceover from Bruce Banner, who waxes philosophically to Jennifer about the difficult road to becoming a superhero. “That is for billionaires, and narcissists, and adult orphans.” One possible candidate could be The Vault. Abomination’s cameo in Shang-Chi had him sparring with Wong (Benedict Wong) at the fight club in Macau, only for Wong to give him fighting tips while escorting him through a portal to the very same prison cell we see in the She-Hulk trailer. Other than that, she has a stressful new job, what we know about Jennifer is that she has friends with large personalities, while she seems to have a rather reserved, unassuming, by-the-book nature.
A Marvel hero is only as good as their villain. Where would the Avengers be without Loki, or Loki without Kang? And as much as Jennifer Walters, ...
Titania certainly makes an impression in her fringed bodysuit, leggings, and gold-trimmed jacket, and while that’s completely different from the outfit she wears in the comics it’s certainly evocative of the 1980s, when she was first introduced into comic canon. In the comics, Titania is born as Mary MacPherran, an unassuming girl from Denver, Colorado who dreams of becoming a superhero. What you may not know is that the action-packed She-Hulk trailer featured our first glimpse of Titania, and she lives up to her name.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the eighth MCU show on Disney+, starring Tatiana Maslany as the lawyer who transforms into the titular green giant, ...
The most recent comics lean towards a bigger, more intimidating She-Hulk. The trailer highlights the big difference between She-Hulk and (He)Hulk, as the latter looks like a green neanderthal, his body shape distorted by bulging muscle, like a gorilla overdosed on steroids. Fans also questioned the wonky CGI, as again, the difference between the two Hulks is quite dramatic - He-Hulk looks far more realistic, the visual effects team likely able to reuse the digital asset from the films, which has been perfected over several years of blockbuster appearances, as well as the character being older, more weather-beaten, which gives the creature more texture.
This nine-episode comedy series follows “Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a ...
Or get a huge muscle lady for the She-Hulk parts. It would not have been possible to simply put prosthetics on Maslany, as the character has to physically transform into a seven-foot-tall green bodybuilder, Paul Tassi, a movie critic, wrote for Forbes. I’m still very much looking forward to She-Hulk but uh they couldn’t just paint her green?
