"I'm in a good place," Blair says. I came out of each event quiet and ashamed." These days Blair is doing much better and hopes that sharing her story will be a help to others. “I thought, ‘Well this is a huge disappointment, but since it turns out I can get the warmth of the Lord from a bottle, thank God there’s one right here.’ I got drunk that night. It really is a huge comfort, a huge relief in the beginning. Now, the actor is opening up about her past in a new memoir called Mean Baby. Blair adds that she took “just quick sips whenever my anxiety would alight. Blair says in the memoir that her relationship with alcohol escalated in her teen years, in college, and into her 20s.
