Human remains' found Lake Mead

Less than a week after boaters found a body in a barrel along the water's edge, additional human remains have been found at the drought-stricken Lake Mead.

At least 2 human remains have been discovered in Lake Mead since the beginning of May as the nation's largest reservoir suffers from historic drought.

A witness saw human skeletal remains in the Calville Bay area of Lake Mead around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, the National Parks Service said. Homicide Lt. Ray Spencer said the body was that of a man who had been shot. Park rangers responded to the scene and set up a perimeter around the remains. Fox News has reached out to NPS and the Los Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for comment but did not hear back before publication.
