The main trio of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has officially been cast for the upcoming Disney Plus show. Unlike the movie, the show will keep the characters closer to their book ages. The show is based on the best-selling middle grade series, which takes palce in a world where Greek gods, heroes, and monsters are real.

Goldberg. 20th Television is the studio. Though cautious by nature, he’ll always throw himself into a fight to protect his friends, especially his best friend Percy. With help from his friends Grover and Annabeth, Percy must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to find it and restore order to Olympus. Grover is a satyr, half boy and half goat, disguised as a 12 year old boy.

Ordered to series in January, Percy Jackson and the Olympians follows the title character (Scobell), a 12-year-old demigod who is just coming to terms with his newfound powers when the sky god, Zeus, accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. She trains Percy to survive the mythological world, while he becomes her guide to connect with humanity. He cares deeply about others and will put their needs before his own, sometimes at his peril.
