The Internet, naturally, had a field day with the ongoing confusion over who Robertsson was. “I just happen to love fashion and have always liked the idea that what I wear changes how people look at and think of me,” he said. Taking the red carpet at the Met Gala by storm, Robertsson was dressed in an intricate, spine-filled haute couture gown designed by Iris Van Herpen, while also sporting some spherical eye makeup and a slicked-back hairdo.

As per a 2019 Vogue profile, Robertsson revealed that his “head-turning” style caught the eye of certain editors at the magazine.
