Lynne Ciani, Chyna’s attorney, asked Kris while she was on the stand whether she could recall having a conversation with a network executive about not being happy with Rob and Chyna’s relationship. “They lived across the street and she [Chyna] had a young child.” Rob posted nudes of me on the internet. “She ripped my shirt early in the evening and we were throwing money around in our Snapchat,” he continued. “My pictures were blasted to the entire world. It’s not fair.”

That was something we had in the back of our minds,” the 19-year-old juror who only wanted to be identified by his first name, Eron, says. “We thought it was kind of weird that she didn’t submit the taxes. Don’t let that distract you from the facts of this case,” Ciani said in some of her last words to the jury late Wednesday. She said each season of Rob & Chyna was worth $740,000 to her, and she could have filmed two per year over the last five years. According to Chyna, it was Rob who crossed the line that morning when he stole her phone in a fit of jealousy, locked himself in a closet, and started going through the device, refusing to return it. In a follow-up email in the same chain later that day, Khloé wrote that “the sisters are clearly concerned and uncomfortable for our brother’s safety and the credibility of the brand at this point due to how they are both tarnishing it.” In her testimony on the witness stand, Khloé said she blamed both White and her brother Rob for bad behavior that made their show untenable. He further argued none of it stopped E! and its parent company, NBC Universal, from continuing to weigh a possible Season Two of Rob & Chyna. Rhodes said network executives were still trying to “pave” a path forward for the show months after Rob and White’s big fight, going as far as extending the option pickup deadline on White’s contract from March 1, 2017, to Aug. 1, 2017. In the case of Kris, for instance, the jurors found she was wrong when she texted at TV executive that Chyna had “beat the shit out of” her son Rob’s face. The conspiracy to kill the show is, ‘Let’s kill the show, and let’s pay her a bunch of money.’ Does that make any sense?” “On behalf of Kris, Kim, Khloé, and Kylie, I want to express our appreciation to the jury. Kylie, 24, was the next family member to take the stand. She vowed to appeal the verdicts that went the other way.

Kardashians Win Big in Blac Chyna's $100 Million Defamation Trial (Variety)

The jury has reached a verdict in Blac Chyna's case against the Kardashians, claiming they defamed her and interfered with her E! contract.

When Chyna testified, she told the jury that she was just being “silly” and that holding the gun was a “joke.” Chyna sued the entire family over claims of defamation, assault, battery, domestic violence and interference with prospective economic relations. Text messages and emails were shown as evidence throughout the 10-day trial, depicting the Kardashians speaking negatively about Chyna and telling E! that they might stop filming their flagship hit, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” if Chyna was involved. Chyna had claimed that the famous family convinced the network to cancel her reality show, “Rob & Chyna,” in which she co-starred with Rob Kardashian. On one hand, Chyna claimed that Kris Jenner was the ringleader of a master plan in which the Kardashian-Jenners used their power to force E! to axe the reality show. “Rob & Chyna” aired for one season at E! in 2016.

Kardashians win Blac Chyna defamation case over canceled reality ... (The Washington Post)

Blac Chyna sued several of the Kardashians over claims tied to the cancellation of her reality show "Rob & Chyna."

Vulture reported that Kris was asked about a text message she sent to a “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” producer saying Chyna had “beat the s---” out of Rob’s face. He added that she signed an agreement for a $100,000 kill fee if the show was not renewed; Chyna said the signature was forged. Rob, accused of revenge porn after posting three naked photos of Chyna on Instagram after their breakup, filed to dismiss his own assault lawsuit against Chyna earlier this year, according to multiple reports. Ciani said that while the video evidence depicted Chyna becoming angry and breaking the TV, it did not support the claim that she attacked Rob. “If Rob’s telling me that he’s gotten strangled with a cord or beat up with a pole, where somebody puts a gun to your head, I might say, ‘She beat the s--- out of Rob’s face.’ It’s a figure of speech,” Kris said in court. It’s the way I talk.” Michael Rhodes and Michelle Doolin, attorneys for the Kardashians, said in a statement that “the jury sent a clear message to Ms. White and her lawyer — I hope they are listening. Kris testified that she believed Chyna capable of killing Rob when she pointed a gun at his head. Central to the legal proceedings was what happened between the couple in mid-December 2016. That April, Chyna and Rob were engaged. While the jury found the Kardashians’ behavior at times aligned with some of Chyna’s claims toward them, it determined their actions did not affect the longevity of Chyna’s reality show or her career overall. Chyna left the courtroom after its delivery, appearing flustered.

Blac Chyna's lawyer, Lynne Ciani, told reporters that the former “Rob & Chyna” star plans to appeal her case against the Kardashian-Jenners after losing on ...

After two weeks in court, jurors walked out of the courthouse looking exhausted and relieved. Whatever the resolution of the case is, those emotions are still there,” Dandurand said. Defense attorney Michelle Carrie Doolin also weighed in, saying, “Mr. [Rob] Kardashian is very grateful to the jury service and happy to have this matter behind him. Chyna, in her testimony, refuted those claims, alleging that she and Rob were just joking around. “I think the judge did a wonderful job of making sure it was a fair trial. They were emphatic in their explicit expression of pleasure,” he continued.

“It was the Rob and Chyna show and there was no more Rob and Chyna. It was not the show we bought.” Kim Kardashian testified that did not remember trying to get Chyna’s show canceled, but admitted that after Chyna allegedly abused Rob she did not want Chyna to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Chyna’s lawyer said Kris Jenner asked E! to “ditch the b***h” and cancel the show. Jeff Olde, who in 2016 was the network’s senior vice president, said he renewed Rob & Chyna for a second season expecting the couple would get married, but when they broke up it ruined the series’ concept.

Kardashian-Jenner family wins defamation case brought on by Blac ... (USA TODAY)

Blac Chyna filed suit for $100 million in lost earnings over the cancellation of her reality show "Rob & Chyna" with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian in 2016.

Rob Kardashian was prone to bouts of jealousy, Chyna claimed during her testimony. The trial, which lasted nine days, touched on allegations of abuse and jealousy. Jurors were considering the defamation case against Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner after a judge threw out the part of the lawsuit against Kim Kardashian in the middle of deliberations. "And she brought in her three daughters to help accomplish that." Jurors were free to make it a split decision — finding against some of the Kardashians but not others. The jurors found on the long jury form that the Kardashians often acted in bad faith on the issues brought up in the case, but that it had no substantial effect on Chyna's contract or the fate of the show, and she was awarded no damages.

A Los Angeles jury on Monday found that Kim Kardashian and her family did not unjustly harm the career of model Blac Chyna.

A second season of “Rob & Chyna” was in production when they broke up in 2017 and the show was scrapped. “I wouldn’t let her watch anything involving them.” Jurors concluded there wasn't enough evidence to find that the defendants lied about Chyna allegedly abusing Rob Kardashian or spread word of the abuse with reckless disregard for the truth.

Jurors had to decide whether each of the defendants knowingly lied about the abuse when they talked about it with the producers and executives overseeing “Rob & Chyna,” or spread word about it with reckless disregard for the truth. But the television executives and producers whose testimony was often technical, and utterly without drama, would prove more important in the jury's findings, which rendered the women's stories of abuse largely irrelevant. And they had to decide for each defendant whether those communications were an illegal interference with Chyna’s contract to appear on the show. “He didn’t have a mark on him,” Ciani told jurors. She testified that she had put the cord around his neck and held the gun playfully as the two celebrated the renewal of their reality show, and when the celebration turned into a dispute, she was never violent against him. He testified that she twice held a gun to his head, wrapped a phone-charging cord around his neck and beat him with a metal rod.
