There are always a lot of good prospects available on Day 2 of the NFL Draft and this year was no different. Want to know what I thought of every pick made ...
Not a special athlete by any stretch of the imagination but can flip on the jets in short bursts. Dark horse to be a stud EDGE down the road. Needs to use a hands a bit more frequently. Not a true trump card though and only average as a blocker. Change-of-direction a bit stiff. Routes are a little rounded. On the ground a bit more than you'd like. Trading up for a specialist is a little strange. Small catch radius and not a contact-balance monster. Not a HR hitter. Fills a major need too. They get that at a premium position with Gordon.
We've reached the final day of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Seattle Seahawks enter Rounds 4-7 with four picks left, and thus far they've not made any trades.
Round 7, Pick 233 - Dareke Young, WR, Lenoir-Rhyne Round 7, Pick 229 - Bo Melton, WR, Rutgers They still have depth they could notably improve upon at linebacker, cornerback, and center.

Joseph is a well-rounded prospect who can make an immediate impact for a defense that is being overhauled this weekend. Cross is a fantastic athlete with great instincts, and the versatility to make plays all over the field. Parham is a versatile blocker who can play either guard or center, and could have easily gone a round earlier. The Steelers just keep cleaning up in the value/need department, grabbing a versatile defensive line prospect who could have easily gone in the top 50. A double-dip for the Falcons at the edge defender spot, and itโs something they needed to do. The Browns fill their need for a young pass rusher to line up opposite Myles Garrett with an underrated prospect. Another solid value pick for the Colts, who land a much-needed tackle to round out their offensive line. Another grand slam of a pick for the Ravens, who continue to own this draft with great need/value picks. What a steal for the Colts, who land the best tight end prospect in the entire draft, and a potential superstar. After a strong performance during Senior Bowl week, this is the range I expected to see Andersen come off the board. Williams is a talented defender who can get after the quarterback, but needs to improve as a run defender to be a full-time starter. Paschal is an explosive, physical edge defender who should give the Lions a dominant duo for years to come.

Overall, Spector has some safety-linebacker tweener traits, which hurts his potential NFL ceiling, but he is instinctive and athletic, which can keep him earning an NFL paycheck as a backup and special teamer. Overall, Ford looks the part and flashes point-of-attack strength and handwork to two-gap, but his lackluster impact on tape is unlikely to improve vs. A wide-bodied player, Munford keeps his feet beneath him and works hard to stay between the ball and defenders. He has the potential to be a dependable backup who can step in and hold his own if asked to pinch-hit as a starting guard. He anchored the left tackle position for three seasons before moving inside to guard as a senior captain, playing over 3,100 offensive snaps in his career and earning All-Big Ten honors four straight years. Overall, Oladokun needs to fine-tune his read timing, decisions and technique, but he is a poised passer with functional athleticism and arm strength to warrant practice squad consideration. Overall, Barnes is speed-reliant and needs to improve his technique and feel down the field, but his special athletic traits give him a fighting chance at an NFL career, especially if he learns to play inside corner. He has a quick release, but needs to be more controlled and repeatable with his mechanics, which should give a boost to his ball placement. Overall, Stueber has NFL size, length and smarts, but he doesnโt have the athleticism to hold up at tackle and needs to improve his balance and sustain skills to earn a living at guard. As a pass blocker, he moves well laterally and keeps his head on a swivel (pressures allowed were hard to find on his 2021 tape). Overall, Deaton isnโt a drive blocker, and he battles anchor issues, but he is a solid blocker in the run game and in pass protection thanks to his movements, smarts and patience. He is a functional run blocker and creates movement on down blocks, but he has some stiffness in his lower body and must improve his pad level to create movement. He projects as a subpackage rusher with the potential to be more with continued development.
