Rams Drop Cameo-Filled Heist Video Ahead of 2022 NFL Draft (Sports Illustrated)

Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Dennis Quaid and more notable names appear in the trailer.

The Rams won’t have their first pick until the very end of the second round, but it’s clear they hope to come up with an absolute steal. Tyrese Gibson, one of the stars from the Fast and the Furious movie franchise, also stars in the video. In this trailer, however, the target is the three-day draft.

LA Rams release amazing NFL Draft themed heist movie trailer (Awful Announcing)

The Los Angeles Rams released a faux-heist movie trailer in preparation for the NFL Draft with a bunch of actors and players taking part.

So even though there will be a lack of top picks, the Rams will be very busy on Saturday. That’s when they’ll look to pull off their plan and “steal the draft.” As they’re not picking until the end of the third round, the Rams have some free time on their hands. And the players involved were surprisingly good actors.

L.A. Rams Reimagine the NFL Draft as a Hollywood Heist Flick (Muse by Clio)

Dazzling 'On the Clock' trailer stars Dennis Quaid and loads of Rams players and staff.

We wanted all of those locations and that scale of the different scenes, from the quiet moments in the owner's box to one of our star players repelling out of a helicopter. A fun piece of insider knowledge is that almost everyone you see in the trailer who might normally be cast as an extra is actually a Rams employee. Marissa Daly: Cooper Kupp running from the security guard is a sequence we all love. The data analyst typing away in the opening of the computer scene is Rams CMO Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick. All the students in Aaron Donald's math class are Rams employees. Matthew Stafford racing out of a seedy motel. We will have a :60, two :30s and a :15, too. We will play this trailer in cinemas and have digital OOH and wild postings. We have amazing movie posters of the cast, as well as individual character posters that you'll see around the city. You can jump in and enjoy the ride. Marissa Daly, VP/GM, Rams Studios: Coming off of our Super Bowl win in our hometown, we had to follow up with something big that reminds everyone why we are L.A.'s team. Where are the quarterbacks going to land? The storylines around the NFL Draft are always the same.

The Rams put together a draft-themed heist movie trailer and it's ... (Rams Wire)

The Rams released a trailer for a heist movie ahead of the draft, starring everyone from Aaron Donald to Dennis Quaid.

Enough time, it seems, to put together a ridiculously cool movie trailer about the Rams stealing the draft. It’s the type of production you’d expect from a team in Hollywood, and the Rams went all-out to create it. The Los Angeles Rams don’t pick until No. 104 overall in the 2022 NFL draft, so they’ve had some time on their hands without the responsibility of studying first-round prospects bound to be selected on Thursday night.

L.A. Rams Recruit Josh Holloway, Scott Eastwood, Tyrese Gibson ... (Hollywood Reporter)

Directed by Paul Hunter, 'On the Clock' also features players Aaron Donald, Van Jefferson, Cooper Kupp, Jalen Ramsey and Matthew Stafford.

Inception cinematographer Wally Pfister also delivered a 90-second hype video that played across SoFi’s cutting edge infinity screen during home games prior to the players rushing the field. Rebel Wilson teamed with the Rams in 2021 to help showcase the unique way it handled its draft activities last year by taking over a Malibu beach house with Rocket Mortgage as the majority of the teams made their selections remotely amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Meant to kick off the Rams’ offseason brand campaign, the release is timed to this week’s NFL Draft activities in Las Vegas. Sin City figures prominently in the short that casts Holloway as general manager Les Snead, Eastwood as head coach Sean McVay, Gibson as defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, and Quaid as Rams owner/chairman E. Stanley Kroenke.

'Me Time' Image Reveals Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart's... Turtle ... (Collider.com)

Netflix has released a new image from their upcoming summer comedy Me Time, starring Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart.

Executive producers include Lauren Hennessey, Mark Moran, Patricia Braga, and Joe Gatta. Both Hart and Wahlberg are also delving into the realm of video game movies as Wahlberg starred in the recent film adaptation of Uncharted alongside Tom Holland while Hart is set to star in the upcoming Borderlands movie. When it comes to Hart and Wahlberg, however, it's a completely different story, as the pair of recognizable and popular actors have never been in a film together. Hart winds up meeting and reconnecting with his former best friend, played by Wahlberg, a meeting that sees the two of them going out for a crazy weekend that could completely change their lives.
