This mock draft has the Broncos adding two defensive players and an offensive tackle in the first three rounds.
But thanks to the Von Miller trade, the Broncos still have a selection in the second round. Follow the Broncos Wire Podcast: Apple Podcasts But when that pick is on the clock the team can simply turn on Russell Wilson highlights.

The Detroit Lions add a fourth defender with pick No. 66 in Pride of Detroit's community mock draft.
Like Cross, Joseph has a snap distribution similar to how the Lions deploy their safeties and he is very comfortable in single-high. A playmaker at his core, Joseph uses his 33-inch arm length to make plays on the ball, and he recorded seven pass breakups and five interceptions last season. This was a difficult decision for me, as I like all three safeties and could see an argument for why any one of them should be the selection. He is quick to process the situation unfolding in front of him, and he has instant reactions that result in big plays. He takes nice angles in coverage and can make plays on the ball, recording seven pass breakups and three interceptions in 2021. As a run defender, he plays downhill and fills with aggression. In 2021, Cook had 11 pass breakups, two interceptions, and didn’t allow a single touchdown through the air. Cook played all over the field for the Bearcats. He is reliable and sound in each role and is rarely out of position, staying square and ready to pounce. Against the run, he fills gaps with a downhill mentality, comfortably working from the box. Corral is an intriguing option, and the Lions could get him at a value as he is not expected to get out of the early parts of Round 2. Once the 66th pick is made by the Detroit Lions, the Pride of Detroit community mock draft will come to a close. But in an effort to try and keep this mock draft somewhat realistic, I opted to not select him for this pick.
The 2022 NFL Draft is just days away and the anticipation is building. On Monday, we had on guests Ryan Wilson (CBS Sports Draft Insider) and Dan Schneier ...
In my mock, they already drafted a wide receiver in round 1 (Treylon Burks) for the first time since Javon Walker in 2002. While Booth may not fill an immediate need, he is a good value at 27. It seems like the first round will come and go without a running back selected, but not in my mock! The Cowboys have built their recent success behind a punishing offensive line, but they need to replenish, particularly on the inside. The Cardinals were average in pass blocking and dreadful in run blocking. No longer can the Saints rely on an elite offense to win games and make the playoffs. That wasn't the case last season but could be the case in 2022. The Ravens were terrible against the pass last season, largely due to injuries in the secondary. Stingely has too much talent to pass up here. Carolina has no more picks until Round 4, so bypassing a quarterback here likely means they'll be waiting for Baker Mayfield or for the 2023 NFL Draft to upgrade the position. Listening to our scouting/football guru Emory Hunt talk about Kayvon Thibodeaux has me convinced that he absolutely deserves to be a Top 5 selection, if not the first overall pick. With two more picks in the Top 34, they could continue to add on defense.
Our latest projection has just Kenny Pickett and Malik Willis in Round 1, and neither until the second half, while six defenders fly off within the first 10 ...
I have confidence Matt LaFleur is creative enough to get the most out of him. The Bucs are nearly certain to take a player who can help right away. But I’ve heard the front office really likes Pickett (word is the coaches might lean a little more toward Matt Corral), and it’s a mild surprise he’s still here. I really wanted to, and almost did, shoehorn Desmond Ridder here—especially since the Titans don’t have a second-rounder. But I’ve come around on Walker a little, a super athlete who was used in a rotation, and probably a little out of position at Georgia. It’d be interesting to see where he lands in Mike Caldwell’s Todd Bowles-esque, blitz-heavy 3–4 look. Teams at the bottom of the first round have talked to those picking early in the second, asking that they keep them in mind if they’re looking to come up and get the fifth-year option on a certain player late Thursday night. So while this isn’t Baltimore’s biggest need, it’s easy to see where new coordinator Mike Macdonald could make Davis a real foundation piece for the future. It also illustrates where the meat of the class is—in the second and third rounds. I think Ickey being gone makes this easier for the Jets—they get a rock-solid scheme fit at a big need position. (Best example: For the first time since 2018, the first two picks are in question going into draft week.) Here, then, is my best guess on how we get clarity a little over 48 hours from now … Which has meant a lot of teams looking to deal down, and few trying to trade up. Teams in the first dozen picks, like the Jets, Giants, Panthers and Commanders, have asked around about options to drop back a few spots (or more) in the order.

Ryan Tannehill will turn 34 years old in July and the last memory of him is a not-so-great performance against the Bengals in the playoffs. He plays nasty, is dominant in the run game and will continue to blossom with proper coaching. Defenses can never have enough cornerbacks in the AFC, and Elam has gone a bit under the radar in this year’s class. There’s been some light buzz that the Titans could be a sneaky quarterback team in this draft. He led the ACC in sacks (11.5) and tackles for loss (17.5) this past season and was really impressive at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. He has the length and agility to be disruptive as both a pass-rusher and run defender. The Cardinals have targeted the defense in back-to-back years, but Kyler Murray has been pleading for help (and a new contract) all offseason long. He’s interviewed really well with teams throughout the draft process, meeting with most teams in the back-end of Round 1 and top of Round 2. The Eagles have taken a wide receiver in back-to-back years, and they could very well go back in that direction again this year. One note: There is a belief that the Packers are still keeping a very close eye on the trade market for receiver help. The Panthers have done all their homework on the quarterbacks in this class, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they target one. There are differing opinions on Stingley, as some believe he just got “bored” after experiencing all the success in his freshman year, while some have serious questions about his availability and if it’s fair to judge 2019 as the real Stingley now that we’re in 2022. Thibodeaux had a really good visit with the Jets a couple of weeks ago, as he hit it off with head coach Robert Saleh. It’s important to make this clear: the concerns that you’ve been reading and hearing about Thibodeaux over the last few weeks aren’t some serious off-field accusations or something injury-related.
1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Georgia DE Travon Walker · 2. Detroit Lions: Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson · 3. Houston Texans: N.C. · 4. New York Jets: Oregon DE Kayvon ...
If there’s a sixth receiver to crack the first round, don’t sleep on it being Moore. He’s a tough, thickly built receiver with good hands and terrific competitive makeup. Lloyd is fast and a strong pass rusher, not unlike Cowboys LB Micah Parsons. Having two position-flexible speed demons to deploy wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. In this scenario, they get their pick, and my hunch is Willis is the one they were most impressed by. He did take a top 30 visit with the Jets, but his other reported visits were with the Titans (No. 26), Cardinals (No. 23) and Lions (No. 2 and No. 32. At this point in the first round, the grades will start to flatten out. Johnson has been linked as high as the Jets with the No. 4 pick, which would be a huge jump compared to where his stock has been for the past few months. To me, the Vikings make a lot of sense to make a short jump up the board to secure Stingley if he slips into the end of the top 10 picks. In this case, Hutchinson’s local ties make it a nice story, but he plays a position that’s a big need for Detroit and is exactly the type of high-motor player the Lions want to build around. People who pay attention to this kind of thing have noted that Ron Rivera‘s presence at a pro day has been a big tell as far as eventual draft picks in the past. Getting one of the top three tackles could be tempting enough for them to sit and pick. There’s a school of thought that HC Arthur Smith will gravitate toward the size of USC’s Drake London, but they already have some big-bodied options on the roster between TE Kyle Pitts, RB/WR Cordarrelle Patterson and WR Auden Tate. My bet is they diversify with Wilson. Carolina is still a strong candidate to trade down and pick up draft capital on Day 2.
With the 31st overall pick in the 2022 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, Cincinnati Bengals GM Thedeuce9 selects ...
29) Chiefs (GreenGrampa): DE Boye Mafe 1) Jaguars (HellBentOnHurts): DE Aidan Hutchinson Overall: Linderbaum is a legitimate top 15 talent in this draft. Some have made reference to his ability to block the bull rush by bigger, stronger opponents. I believe the same was said about Jason Kelce when he emerged from Cincinnati (which has been many experts NFL comparison to Linderbaum). I believe we all have an idea how that worked out for the Eagles. Burrow’s 108.3 QBR during the regular season and the maturation of the Offense as a whole enabled them to make their first playoff appearance in 6 years, and maximize that opportunity by turning their first playoff win since 1991 into a determined run that would lead them to the Super Bowl and firmly establish them as one of the rising stars and help them turn the public laughing stock of a franchise into a perennial contender.
The most exciting quarterback prospect in the class finds a soft landing spot in this mock.
See? The Lions drafted a Michigan product after all -- and a smart one with good speed. The Packers pick up a seamless fit at center with Linderbaum, who's a back-to-back All-American and NFL-ready center. Jordan Poyer is in the final year of his deal and Micah Hyde has a year longer left on his. He'd be up there as one of the top rookie receivers in redraft, worth taking before the end of Round 8. The pick helps now and well into the future. He'd be a double-digit round selection in long-term startup formats and a pick after 15th overall in rookie-only drafts, unless we're talking Superflex/two-QB, which would probably push him closer to 10th. New Orleans is no stranger to taking O-linemen in Round 1 and figure to do the same if Penning falls this far. Matching him up with Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack and the rest of their front just makes them all the more dangerous. I suspect he won't be as popular in seasonal formats (Round 10) if he were to land in Philly, but he'd get more love in long-term keeper-league startups (Round 8-9) and in rookie-only drafts (anywhere from third to sixth overall). Every year, the Steelers are the least tight-lipped team over who they want in Round 1, and every year they get who they say they want. Hutchinson and Travon Walker both have explosive traits as pass rushers, but Hutchinson's track record as a run defender (two missed tackles on runs last season) gives him an edge the Jaguars shouldn't ignore. Each of the 32 selections (and four trades!) you're about to consume was well thought out.
As we enter the week of the NFL Draft, we bring you our final Mock Draft ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft, this time a full seven-round mock draft, Dawg version.
That's the type of pedigree that has Bill Belicheck swooning over a big fella. He's going to have several suitors that are in need of a third-down back. With the Chargers sitting at No. 17 overall, it's clear that if Houston wants an impact defender on the interior of their defense, they will need to be proactive about it. There's plenty of tape to evaluate and there are ample traits for NFL Teams to work with. Wyatt had first-round tape for two straight seasons, but it took a senior bowl performance for the ages to really cement Wyatt's title as the best 3-technique defensive tackle in this class. For the third consecutive year, the University of Georgia will be shattering its own NFL Draft record.

Los Angeles snags Delance in the sixth round in this exercise as a result, and the Rams would hope that his best days on the field are ahead of him after an up-and-down career at UF. If he doesn't, Davis is a strong candidate to sign with a team as an undrafted free agent immediately after the draft concludes. Add in Pierce's improvement in the passing game, and you've got a starting-caliber NFL running back waiting to be discovered. So will his max lifts during his time at UF — 390 pounds on the bench and a whopping 705 pounds squatting. He always impressed as a physical, downhill rusher who had a knack for making defenders miss, but Pierce grew immensely as a receiver and pass protector during the 2020-21 seasons when he took on a larger role in the Gators' offense. Combine a solid frame with incredible length, plus athleticism and experience (37 SEC starts) as an offensive tackle, and pro teams will come calling. The running back room — frankly, every position on the Texans' offense — needs some young talent, even after re-signing one and signing two veterans in free agency to inexpensive deals. NFL evaluators might tend to believe Delance can continue to develop based on his athletic and physical profile, however. Kansas City addressed almost every other need it has in free agency but did not sign a corner, indicating that the Chiefs will use one of their back-to-back first-round picks on a player at the position. Starting defensive end Calais Campbell turns 36 this September and signed only a two-year extension with Baltimore this offseason, meaning the Ravens will soon look for the future Hall of Fame lineman's eventual replacement. Due to his stellar combine and pro day results, Elam is a candidate to be selected before Kansas City's first-round picks within a projected run on cornerbacks. With cornerback Kaiir Elam leading the pack, at least three Gators are expected to be drafted this year.
It's draft week, which means it's time for another Eagles NFL mock draft roundup. By Dave Zangaro.
My take on the haul: Based on Johnson’s rise, it would be a pleasant surprise to sit at No. 15 and get him there. There is a decent shot one of them will be a great value in the second round. Graham turns 34 years old in April and is coming off a torn Achilles, while Sweat and Barnett both failed to crack the top 25 in terms of PFF pass-rushing grade in 2021.” My take on the haul: If the Eagles leave the first round with Davis and Lloyd, there would be a lot of happy fans. What they said: “It appears more and more that the Eagles are all-in on Jalen Hurts, at least through the 2022 season. There seems to be a good shot he won’t be available when the Eagles are on the clock, but if he is, the Eagles really should be interested. He would give them they type of explosive player in their offense that could take their attack to the next level. The Eagles’ sliding down from 18 to 22 and picking up a third-round pick in the process is very appealing, even if it’s a late third-rounder. Yes, it normally isn’t wise to take a run-stuffing DT in the first round, but because of Davis’s unique athleticism, he projects to be much more than that. He didn’t have great college production—19.5 tackles behind the line in 47 games at Georgia—and that would be a big concern to me. Davis is such a unique player that it makes it really tough to know exactly where he’s going to go in the first round. The receiver and corner markets, both of which he needs to hit before the end of day two, don’t align with what’s left on the board in this mock.
The week of the NFL Draft is here. This is a two round mock draft of who could happen when the clock starts.
- Scouting Report Blurb on 4-3 DE George Karlaftis, Purdue Good understanding of finding soft spots in zone and working back to the QB. - Scouting Report Blurb on oWR Garrett Wilson, Ohio State - Scouting Report Blurb on oCB Derek Stingley Jr., LSU As a run defender, he consistently penetrates the backfield and utilizes his upper body strength to shed blocks. - Scouting Report Blurb on LT Tyler Smith, Tulsa - Scouting Report Blurb on QB Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati He is aware of where the space is in the defense to attack the holes. Lloyd locates and carries tight ends up the seam and is able to get very good depth in his drops with his length making it tough for quarterbacks to layer the ball over him. He has tremendous ability to throw on the run, off platform and when contorting his body while still regularly placing the ball within the strike zone of the WR. Ball placement is one of his best attributes, Pickett understands where to place the ball to maximize YAC, or to help his target avoid a big hit from an incoming defender. His length is great and once he lands his hands, he is able to latch on, move his feet and control opponents. Has the speed and athleticism to follow the player he is covering all over the field. In the run game, he is able to impact linemen with his hands, twisting them and enforcing his will.

Hunter had an excellent week in Vegas for the Shrine Bowl and would help build a very good pass-rush combination after the Bengals already added Malone to the mix in this class too. There’d be no rush to play him early and he’s likely best suited in a backup role anyway, but that works for now for Eze with the Bengals. A player the Bengals have met with during this draft season and an exciting one at that. Ruckert is a darn good tight end that we seem to be forgetting about in this class but who could end up having one of the biggest impacts on his respective team. There’s been a lot of discussion on Linderbaum during this draft season and where he’ll fall in the draft. The goal is to provide a good idea of what might unfold this week during the three-day affair.
It's draft week, which means it's time for another Eagles NFL mock draft roundup. Check out the big name that keeps showing up.

Olave is probably the best route runner in this class but he alone won't be able to account for all of Tyreek Hill's offense. We don't get the concerns about Dean's size -- he's 5-foot-11, 229 pounds -- and we love everything about his game. This has been a popular pick for us over the months because of Hill's versatility. Tyler Biadasz was good at times last season but there's certainly room for upgrading the interior OL. That brings us to Zion Johnson, who is another player who went to the Senior Bowl and proved he was worthy of first-round consideration. Wyatt is another player who changed some minds with his Senior Bowl week and he continued to convince folks of his first-round talents by putting on a show at the combine. The Steelers could go defensive line or wide receiver here but instead take a center, one of their weakest positions a season ago. The Chargers could go either tackle or guard here -- they have needs at both positions -- but with four tackles already off the board, Green makes sense here. The biggest question is if he can keep his weight down, which directly correlates to his stamina, and his ability to stay on the field. No offensive line help, but New York can address that in Round 2. Two CBs are already off the board, but McDuffie is worthy of a top-12 selection. Thibodeaux has game-changing talents and, frankly, he's been all over the board in our mock drafts, mostly because teams have differing opinions on him. Hutchinson starred at Michigan and now he moves a few miles down the road to join the Lions. He's the best player in this class and talk that he has already reached his ceiling is just that.
Hutchinson has questions about his arm length but is technically sound and a flat-out competitor. He's the safe pick and the surest defensive end into the NFL.
According to PFF, Johnson is the highest graded offensive player from Boston College since 2014, (84.4). Johnson is a versatile lineman who played as a tackle and guard throughout his time in college. In the last two years, Willis threw for 5,117 yards, had 47 touchdowns and only 18 interceptions. He is explosive off the line of scrimmage and has a high motor when getting around the edge. Pickens has the speed to stretch defenses vertically and ball skills to be the Chiefs new ‘X’ receiver. At Iowa State, Hall racked up 1,472 rushing yards and tied third in the nation with 20 touchdowns. His speed, route running and yards after the catch should translate to immediate production for the Cardinals. Lloyd has a high football IQ and its shown on tape as he adjusted his defensive lineman, freeing lanes for him to explode off the line of scrimmage blowing up plays in the backfield. Lloyd will come in and immediately start while being groomed by one of the greatest coaches of all time, Bill Belichick. Elam is a very handsy cornerback as he was flagged seven times in the 2021 season alone. He’s a 6-foot-5, 272-pound monster with 35.5-inch arms and 10.75-inch hands while testing in the 90th percentile in multiple categories. He’s the most pure cornerback in man coverage which is perfect for new defensive coordinator, Wink Martindale, who wants to be more aggressive and will be comfortable leaving Stingley on a island. In my first and only mock, I’ve looked at the value that each player adds to the team making the pick.

Arizona Republic NFL writer Bob McManaman offers his fourth and final 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Who do the Cardinals land with pick No. 23?
You have to think the Lions will draft a quarterback at some point and it may as well be at this spot for that extra year of contract control. He’s a solid, two-way talent with size, strength and catching prowess. In this scenario, they go with a player who converted to tackle from tight end and can play either side in a pinch. After going with a defensive player in my first three mock drafts, I can see the Cowboys addressing their offensive line and nabbing Linderbaum to man the middle of it. They could go interior offensive line here, too, with someone like Kenyon Green or Zion Johnson. Dean might fall into the second round, but I think he would be a very good fit in Tennessee’s defense, even though he’s a tad undersized. They could go with an edge rusher here such as George Karlaftis or Boye Mafe. Cornerbacks Andrew Booth Jr. and Kaiir Elam are available, too. He can become a real star in this system and will be starting sooner rather than later. In my last Mock Draft, I had Willis going No. 9 to the Seahawks. With Willis now available, I can see the Steelers still having some real interest in him. I’ll roll the dice here again and this time, project that it’s Cross. But it could be Davis. Hamilton can do it all and it’s not like the Commanders can’t use the help. I’ll roll the dice, though, and project that Walker is the guy. The NFL Draft is April 28-30 in Paradise, Nevada and we take a look at how things could play out in the first round.
My first NFL Draft mock draft of the season, and the board is full of surprises. · 1. Jags- Evan Neal, OT Alabama · 2. Lions- Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE Michigan · 3.
Setting the edge and building up that defense so this is a complete team is a must when the offense is ready. Yes. Willis is similar to what they had in Wilson. He is just more of a project and I think a better runner. Wilson is my number one pass catcher, and he will give Wilson a three-wide set of Wilson, Davis, and Moore. All of which look to be solid above-average players. This is just the best player on the board move. I think he could easily beat out Lock, but it seems Seattle is playing for future years based on the Lock trade. Hutchinson is the best pass rusher in this class and went to Michigan. He will instantly transform that front seven. Darnold is not the answer, but neither is Pickett. The Jets need to start locking down the secondary. This could be their next big-time player, and Walker has gained a lot of hype lately. This year, the NFL Draft will be full of excitement, intrigue, delight, and utter disappointment for many fans. I don’t bite on the smoke screens, but some hype is too hard to notice. With just a few more days before the NFL Draft, this is my final NFL mock draft, unless trades come up.
It is NFL Draft week. Time once again for us all to go nuts about the great picks some teams make and the awful picks other teams make even though the ...
He's obviously had success in that weather and that stadium and what a cool story it would be for him to go from the Panthers to the Steelers? But, my gut tells me they lean into their strength and that's on defense. The Packers send the 22nd and 59th overall picks this year, plus a 3rd rounder in 2023, to Houston in exchange for the 13th overall pick and use it on: He's fantastic at creating separation, something a QB loves in a receiver, and was productive from the outside or the slot in his collegiate career. The Vikings hired former Aztec Kevin O'Connell, and offensive-minded coach, to take over for Mike Zimmer so going with someone on that side of the ball is certainly possible. The offensive line is an issue but there's nobody available at that position who's as good as Hamilton is at this position so the Jets should go with the mythical creature. The fact he went to Oregon and stays in the Northwest is just icing on the cake. The Dirty Birds make the smart choice and bulk up the front 7 instead of reaching for a QB here. It's blasphemy to take a center in the top 10. Christian McCaffrey is expected to be healthy again in 2022 and keeping him that way should be priority #1 until they sort out the QB position. New York sends three picks (4th overall and 35th overall this year plus a 4th rounder in 2023) to Seattle for wide receiver D.K. Metcalf. Jets quarterback Zack Wilson gets an elite target to throw to and the Seahawks get: The Lions need help pretty much everywhere so taking the best player available is the smart move and the Wolverines quarterback hunter is probably the best player available. Add him and hit on a couple more picks and the Jags could be a sneaky good team this year.

We're spanning the map. Here's what the experts believe the Eagles will do with those first-round selections once the NFL Draft gets underway.
He played a lot of slot corner for the Wolverines, but he probably grades out as an NFL safety. He hasn’t been linked to Philly often, but he’s one of the more underappreciated (and versatile) defensive backs in the draft. That would most certainly satisfy much of the desire for long-awaited upgrades in the secondary and wide receiver corps. The selection of Lloyd would mean the Eagles are finally paying the proper amount of attention to upgrading the linebacker position. Either you’re sick of seeing them or you’re still checking them out to see if any of the theories about what the Philadelphia Eagles might do have changed. There are a few draft pundits that grade him as the second-best corner behind Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner now.
It is finally draft week, so we will finally find out who the Atlanta Falcons will end up with. Here is a computer-generated mock draft for the Falcons.
No one knows at this point since the Falcons are a pivotal team near the top of the draft. It is really crazy when you look at it. For the Falcons it is especially important as they need to find all the help they can get.
Peter King gives his first-round picks for the 2022 NFL Draft, with the Jags making a surprising No. 1 selection, an edge rusher slipping and more.
