While their upcoming Europa League semi-final clash with Frankfurt clearly takes priority, it is a surprise to see so many changes to the West Ham team. Chalobah’s warming up with the starters despite being a sub on the official team sheet and all of Chelsea’s social announcements. Andreas Christensen was due to be starting as part of the Chelsea backline this afternoon but, according to our Chelsea man at Stamford Bridge, Liam Twomey, Trevoh Chalobah could replace him. Everything is leaning towards a Chelsea win at Stamford Bridge this afternoon but West Ham have a habit of turning up in the big games. Judging by the 22 players selected by the two managers this afternoon, Chelsea will dominate most of the ball and that is exactly what they have already started to do. Loftus-Cheek is already looking to assert himself on Reece James's right wing-back position as he curls a couple of lovely crosses into the West Ham box. Benrahma took advantage of the first before firing his relatively tame low effort straight at Mendy in the Chelsea goal.
