While hail can cause damage, sleet is just little pieces of hard ice, while graupel are little snow pellets. What happens after that is called “riming,” which is like a cake of frost covering the snowflake. These three types of frozen precipitation are all different.

Monday is likely to receive some morning rain showers as a weak system passes to the north, and more showers are expected later in the week as well.
