I just don’t think I can be convinced is that the guy who has already played The Flash for more than a decade is the only choice to replace Miller, and I just don’t imagine this manifesting, no matter how much some fans may want to see it. Seeing Grant Gustin alone zapped into the DCEU to play a different version of a character he’s already played for eight years and a hundred hours is just extremely weird to process. With that said, I cannot wrap my head around how strange it would be to port the actor over to the DCEU for a Flash film.

After Ezra Miller's arrest in Hawaii, Warner Bros. executives are reportedly reevaluating their superhero future in 'The Flash.'
Well, with the reports that Warner Bros. met about Miller's behavior, things do not look particularly great for their future as the Justice League's Flash. And if The Slap taught us anything, it's that studios aren't afraid to halt production on a star's project at the first whiff of trouble. "Ezra would get a thought in [their] head and say, 'I don’t know what I’m doing.'" The meeting reportedly happened on March 30, with the executives deciding to pause Miller's future projects with the studio. This was all enough, according to Rolling Stone, for Warner Bros. executives to hold a meeting about Miller's future with the franchise. If you're here to understand exactly what the studio fears, as well as what fans want—Grant Gustin, the leading man of The Flash TV show?—we have you covered. The same AP story detailing Miller's arrest revealed a court complaint against Miller, filed by a two Hawaii residents. According to the Associated Press, Miller was arrested at a Miami karaoke bar at the end of March. Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho told the AP that Miller took issue with patrons singing "Shallow," from The Star is Born. As the AP report details, Miller "grabbed a mic from a singing woman and lunged at a man playing darts," before authorities charged them with disorderly conduct and harassment.
'We Need to Talk About Kevin' actor Ezra Miller once explained why he would 'happily lose my mind forever' over the dark, dramatic role.
However, Miller didn’t let potential thoughts that the lines between We Need to Talk About Kevin and their real-life could blur. “I was so passionate about this project that I would have happily lost my mind forever in service of the film. We Need to Talk About Kevin sees her son, Kevin (Miller), grow from a fussy toddler to a dangerous and destructive teenager. Miller played The Flash in Justice League, but Warner Bros. and DC originally intended to bring them back for the superhero’s solo movie. The interviewer asked Miller if they were ever concerned about the negative nature of the role bleeding into their real-life off-camera. In a previous interview, Miller once stated that they’d “happily lose my mind forever” for We Need to Talk About Kevin. This is a particularly relevant topic in light of recent events.
After Ezra Miller was arrested on March 28, fans are calling for CW actor Grant Gustin to take his place in the upcoming WB flick "The Flash."
“Grant Gustin is an obvious choice to replace Ezra Miller,” the user tweeted. Give him a chance at the movie.” Miller’s “The Flash” movie was set to be released sometime in 2023.

Gustin was trending on Twitter because fans want to see the actor take over on all things movie and TV-related for The Flash. As a fan favourite for many, especially for his portrayal of the character on the TV screen, Gustin was who many wanted to see as the DCEU's Flash. However, it was clear that this wasn't how DC was handling things, which meant they opted for two different actors for the speedster. Hopefully, the victims of Miller's verbal assault all get treated right and DC can get back to what it once was. Recently, Grant Gustin was trending as the possible replacement for Miller as the Scarlet Speedster.

The third film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, comes out on April 15 in the US (April 7 in Australia, April 8 in the UK). Miller plays a major role in that film. Black Adam comes out in October, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods in December, and neither will have any Flash appearance -- not due to the incidents, but because it was never planned that way. Miller played Credence Barebone/Aurelius Dumbledore in the second and third Fantastic Beasts movies. The calls were about minor incidents, such as filming people at a gas station, refusing to leave the sidewalk area of a restaurant and arguing with people, the AP reports. Variety reports that Miller was escorted off the premises. Reports debunked the rumored emergency meeting from Warner Bros. over The Flash's Ezra Miller.
However, a new update has revealed that this may no longer be the case for the studio behind the superhero franchise. Now, as the actor prepares for his fifth DCEU entry next year, including Zack Snyder's Justice League and the Season 1 finale of Peacemaker, reports have hinted that his time with DC could be in serious jeopardy. While Warner Bros.' The Flash faces yet another round of delays, now not set to release until June 23 of next year, the film has another potentially big problem on its hands too.

As reported by Rolling Stone, the meeting held on March 30 was to discuss Miller’s arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment. The Rolling Stone source described Miller as “losing it,” and said “Ezra would get a thought in head and say, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing.'” Following the arrest of The Flash actor Ezra Miller in a Hawaii karaoke bar, Warner Bros. and DC executives held a meeting to discuss the actor’s future involvement in movie projects.
The Flash actor Ezra Miller was frequently and openly in emotional distress while filming the highly anticipated DCEU film, an insider says.
In January, Miller posted a now-deleted video of themself speaking to "the Beulaville chapter of the North Carolina Ku Klux Klan." In the video, Miller urges KKK members to kill themselves. Since the woman in the video regards Miller playfully and appears to joke about having a fight before Miller grabs her, some perceived the incident at the time as simply a joke taken too far. After Miller's release on bail, a couple the actor was staying with filed a restraining order against Miller for allegedly threatening to kill the couple.
