Chicago Fire Producer Andrea Newman Reveals The Actor Who's ... (Looper)

"Chicago Fire" has seen a lot of actors come and go over 10 seasons. Producer Andrea Newman revealed which actor is like a "big brother" to everyone on set.

Featuring an ensemble cast — which includes Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, David Eigenberg, and Miranda Rae Mayo, among others — "Chicago Fire" has a revolving door of guest stars and tertiary actors who appear in only one or two episodes, leaving a laundry list of names on its IMDb page. When asked to pick an actor or character from the past who has left the show that he'd like to see return, Walker refused to choose just one, saying it was too "difficult." The hit NBC series, which airs on Wednesday nights, follows the first responders of the fictional Firehouse 51 in the Windy City, both at work and beyond.

Chicago Fire season 10, episode 17 sees Severide and Kidd lead their own parts of Firehouse 51 together. Unless there are 24 episodes to the season, there aren’t enough episodes for the weeks left to get us to that point.

The 'Chicago Fire' Season 10 cast now has Caitlin Carver as paramedic Emma Jacobs. Here's why Carver's character looks so familiar.

Sylvie Brett and Matt Casey make their relationship work long-distance in Chicago Fire Season 10. Fans shouldn’t worry too much yet, as it’s confirmed Brett actor Kara Killmer will return at some point later in the season. NBC’s One Chicago fans can get excited for a new Chicago Fire Season 10 cast member to join the ranks. The Chicago Fire Season 10 cast has plenty of fan favorites like Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd, Kara Killmer as Sylvie Brett, Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide, and plenty more. Chicago Fire has seen plenty of paramedics — and many have left the firehouse. Will Jacobs disrupt their current dynamic — or could she possibly take one of their places?

Where is Sylvie Brett on Chicago Fire? Is Kara Killmer leaving? (CarterMatt)

For the time being, here's what we know: Brett is off spending some time with Casey on leave, and we expected that this was going to happen at some point after ...

With that being said, though, we do at least know that Brett is going to be back in Firehouse 51 eventually. We’d hope that it would be a quick departure for the character, or that it would happen between episodes; however, that is not the case. Should you be worried that Kara Killmer is leaving the NBC show?

Are Hawkins and Violet Breaking up on 'Chicago Fire'? (Distractify)

The fledgling forbidden romance between Hawkins and Violet on 'Chicago Fire' is hitting a few bumps in the road. Are they breaking up? Let's get into it.

She elaborated a bit by pointing out what most of us hope to find in a partner. We would be devastated if Hawkins and Violet actually broke up. Unfortunately at the end of the promo, Hawkins tells Violet, "I think we need some time apart." Sure, the power dynamic of this relationship is a bit unbalanced seeing as how Evan Hawkins (Jimmy Nicholas) is Violet Mikami's (Hanako Greensmith) boss, but we are all in for it. When the heating stabilizers broke on Ambulance 61, Hawkins allowed the ambulance to jump ahead of several other vehicles that needed repairs, all for the love of Violet. And could this mean their hot and heavy relationship is already cooling down?

Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 17 Recap "Keep You Safe ... (Celebrity Myxer)

Recap of Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 17. Severide & Kidd work with CPD regarding a suspicious car wreck. Hawkins & Violet's relationship is in jeopardy.

He was fine with it and wanted to stay with them and they happily accepted! She apologized to him because he was looking out for her. She pleaded with the woman to help the cops before they figure out her involvement. Violet figured it was Gallo since he did confront Chief Hawkins and was jealous of the two. Kidd confronted Adrianna about the findings, suspecting the driver was forcing her to participate. Kidd noticed a bruise on Adrianna’s neck and took the concern to Severide. She knew it was a bruise from being choked out. Violet and Hawkins spoke about the complaint and he was verbally reprimanded. Stella went to Chicago Med and visited the young woman, Adrianna. She returned the receipt and Adrianna denied it was hers. She told him that he had been coming out of his shell and excelling in the class. She took it to Severide and they thought the injured woman put it in her pocket… They discovered Javi and two other boys were a part of a missionary program to give them a better life in the U.S. However, his caregiver was too overwhelmed and sought to give the boy up to the system. When the fire rescue got to the scene, half of the car was missing!

Kara Killmer Reveals Why Brett Stayed In Chicago And Didn't Move ... (Looper)

Chicago Fire actor Kara Killmer revealed why her character, Sylvie Brett, stays at Firehouse 51 after Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) moves to Portland.

Brett learns from Casey how to go above and beyond in this way to care for others, and, in turn, it makes her feel a responsibility to her firehouse. They are trying to live up to the image of the people the two first admired in each other. Ironically, Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) is actually the reason Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) stays in Chicago, according to none other than Killmer. When asked why Brett does not move to Portland with Casey during a "One Chicago" franchise event (via YouTube), Killmer recalled a Season 8 scene where the two characters bond. At one point, Brett expresses how the fictional Firehouse 51 is not like other firehouses in terms of how they operate. Some may have been expecting Brett to make a giant leap with Casey, but they instead chose to attempt a long-distance relationship, which of course comes with its own particular drama. There's no denying the strategy has worked; the NBC series is currently airing Season 10 and is already renewed for Season 11.

Leading out of some Kardashians “news” special (2.7 mil/0.4), The Wonder Years (1.9 mil/0.3) was steady but Home Economics (1.6 mil/0.3) hit and tied series lows. P.D. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. Why Chicago Fire's Cruz And Chloe Can Have A Happier Ending ... (Cinema Blend)

Chicago Fire's Joe Minoso opened up about Cruz and Chloe's big development, and how it could go differently for them than Dawson and Casey.

Just like Dawson and Casey with the Louie storyline – which actually started in Season 4 and lasted until they gave him up in Season 5 – Cruz and Chloe took in a little boy after he was saved from a fire and formed an attachment to his rescuer. Plus, “Keep You Safe” specifically took care of the potential complication of a blood relative emerging from the woodwork to try and claim custody, so maybe there really won’t be any heartbreak this time around. Chicago Fire returned with a big episode for Cruz and Chloe as they adjusted to their new normal of raising a ten-year-old boy as well as their infant.
