Doncic finished with 32 points, eight rebounds and 15 assists for his third 30-point, 15-assist game of the season.

He's gonna make the right pass, he's gonna make the pass to the roller, skip pass to the corner. On the next possession, Doncic brought the ball down and went back to the well with the high screen. Watching Doncic take control of the game and essentially solve the Bucks' defense in real time was incredible. Instead, he went iso and used a behind-the-back dribble to get Middleton off-balance, then lowered his shoulder to get into the paint and drew a foul. In addition, he recorded his third 30-point, 15-assist game of the season, which is as many as the rest of the league combined. Sunday afternoon's national TV game between the Bucks and Mavericks was billed as a matchup between two of the game's brightest young stars: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Doncic. The former has been spectacular as of late, and might end up winning his third MVP award.

MILWAUKEE — Trailing 91-90 with 9:16 left in the fourth quarter Sunday afternoon, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks signaled how badly they wanted to ...

“He tried to do the two lines on the other side, too,” Doncic joked after the game, referring to his side-striped hairstyle. They upheld the call after Milwaukee’s challenge. Coach Jason Kidd didn’t want to watch the Bucks answer his team’s baskets with lead-stealing runs anymore. “He’s a champion. With 32 points, 15 assists, 8 rebounds and three steals in 39 minutes, Doncic extended his 30-point streak to a career-best five consecutive games and logged his third 30-point, 15-assist performance of the season — as many as the rest of the NBA combined. Just two minutes into his typical five-minute rest break to start the fourth quarter, Doncic stood up from the bench, checked back in and started to converse with teammates on the court.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Dallas Mavericks Preview: Luka Doncic vs ... (Brew Hoop)

Hopefully a noon start doesn't ruin what could be a doozy of a game.

They’re ranked seventh for the season at 109.1. It’s a stunning turnaround for a coach whose scheme looked so out-of-touch just a few seasons ago for Milwaukee. Their offense has stagnated, but is still stirred by the supernova talents of Luka Doncic, who is averaging 28 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists for the season. Honoring Giannis Antetokounmpo truly was the highlight of Friday. I kid, but the early tipoff games are always a bit wonky with this team; hopefully with a few days off for the starters they’ll be ready to bring it against one of the league’s better defensive teams.

Stephen A. Smith: Doncic, Kidd, Mavs 'Something Special to Behold' (Sports Illustrated)

During halftime of the Dallas Mavericks win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith praised the organization from top to bottom.

To say Porzingis hasn’t been a welcomed addition in Washington might be a stretch, being that he’s averaging 22 points and eight rebounds per game in 15 games played for the Wizards. They seem happy to have him. He didn’t stop there, though, as he went on to give his thoughts on Dallas’ upper management and the Kristaps Porzingis trade. The game was nationally televised on ABC, and at halftime, Smith had some lengthy praise for the Mavs after watching them go toe-to-toe with the reigning NBA champions.

Burks finished with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Immanuel Quickley had his first triple-double (20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in 34 minutes off the bench. Jalen Green had 31 points for Houston and Christopher scored a career-high 30 off the bench as the Rockets dropped their fourth straight. Will Barton scored 25 points and Aaron Gordon added 24 points and eight rebounds for the Nuggets, who capitalized on LeBron James’ absence with a fourth-quarter surge to grab their fourth win in five games. Coupled with the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to Denver, San Antonio’s magic number for clinching 10th place in the Western Conference is two games. It’s the second straight victory for Minnesota, which is in seventh place in the Western Conference with three games remaining. Tyrese Haliburton flirted with a triple-double with 19 points, a career high-tying 17 assists and nine rebounds. Tre Jones added 18 points and Keita Bates-Diop 12. In six career games against the Bucks, Doncic has averaged 26.8 points, 11.3 assists and 9.2 rebounds with three triple-doubles. The other 7-footer, Pokuveski, had 17 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds while playing point guard for the bulk of the game. Russell Westbrook added 27 points and Carmelo Anthony had 17. Playing without scoring leader Devin Booker, Phoenix hit just 7 of 38 (18.4%) beyond the arc, well below its previous season low of 22% in a January win over Dallas. Embiid was questionable coming into the game with a sore ankle.
