How to Livestream the 2022 Grammys (Vanity Fair)

Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, and BTS are among the performers on music's biggest night.

If you’re eager to get your awards-show Sunday started even earlier, Live From E!: Countdown to the Grammys airs at 4 p.m. E.T./1 p.m. P.T., featuring comedian Nikki Glaser and Grammy-nominated artist Ester Dean. As such, most categories will not be announced during the live telecast. This year’s telecast will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Other streaming options include Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, DirectTV Stream, Sling TV, and FuboTV, most of which have free-trial options. Olivia Rodrigo and newly minted Oscar winner Billie Eilish, each up for seven awards, will perform. This year, the Recording Academy will be bestowing honors in a staggering 86 categories. (The full list of nominations can be found here.) Let’s be honest: We all view the Grammys as an unofficial concert. Two-time Grammy winner Lil Nas X, nominated in five categories, will take the stage, as will six-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile, up for five awards of her own, and 12-time winner Lady Gaga, nominated for her latest record with Tony Bennett. Here’s how to livestream the 64th Grammy Awards. Those searching for their pre-show fashion fix can watch the Live From E!: Grammys red carpet coverage at 6 p.m. E. T./3 p.m. P.T., hosted by Laverne Cox and featuring Queer Eye’s Karamo, style correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi, and pop culture commentator Naz Perez. Live From E! Stream: Grammys, begins at 7 p.m. E.T./4 p.m. P.T. on most of the E! social channels, YouTube, eonline.com, and the E! News app. Questions about the ceremony abound: Who will win best new artist? The 2022 Grammys air on Sunday, April 3, on CBS. Those with a cable subscription can watch the ceremony live on television at their local CBS affiliate, or online at cbs.com, or through the CBS app.

Grammy Awards 2022: Time, TV channel, how to live stream this ... (oregonlive.com)

Will the 64th Grammy Awards bring moments to rival last week's Oscars? Trevor Noah hosts Sunday's live broadcast.

Noah will host another live awards ceremony with Sunday's 2022 Grammy Awards broadcast. The 64th Grammy Awards are finally happening Sunday, after the 2022 ceremony had been postponed amid concerns over the omicron variant. You know, like the last live awards event -- the March 27 Oscars, during which Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, launching a million comments, analyses, hot takes, medium takes, and so on.Will Noah make some jokes about the Smith/Rock incident? Grammy Awards 2022: Time, TV channel, how to live stream this week’s live awards showTrevor Noah is shown attending the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last week. Trevor Noah returns to host, and this year’s celebration will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Top nominees include Jon Batiste, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Lil Nas X, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat and Olivia Rodrigo. While there’s suspense about who will win, you’d better believe that plenty of viewers will watch the Grammy Awards just to see if something unexpected happens. And there are more potential fireworks associated with the Grammys. Kanye West was reportedly asked not to perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards in the wake of West’s volatile social media posts, which targeted West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.West has also slammed Noah online, following a “Daily Show” commentary during which Noah criticized West for harassing Kardashian and Davidson. “You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous, because she appropriates Black culture,” Noah said, “but what she’s going through is terrifying to watch and shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”Years before last week’s Smith/Rock episode, West was involved in one of the most discussed awards show moments in memory when, during the 2009 VMAs, Taylor Swift was onstage to accept the Video of the Year award, and West rushed up to interrupt Swift and praise Beyonce. While West isn’t scheduled to perform at the 64th Grammys, he has been nominated for five awards, including his album, “Donda.” So, if he attends and wins, viewers may see West onstage accepting his own award or awards.Performers and presenters also include Grammy nominees Megan Thee Stallion, Joni Mitchell and Questlove; Grammy winners Lenny Kravitz, Dua Lipa, Ludacris, Billy Porter, Bonnie Raitt and Keith Urban; past Grammy nominees Kelsea Ballerini and Avril Lavigne; actors and musicians Jared Leto and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez; and actor Anthony Mackie.Previously announced performers include J Balvin with Maria Becerra, Jon Batiste, Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Cynthia Erivo, H.E.R., Lady Gaga, John Legend, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Maverick City Music, Nas, Aymée Nuviola, Leslie Odom Jr., Ben Platt, Olivia Rodrigo, Silk Sonic, Chris Stapleton, Billy Strings, Carrie Underwood and Rachel Zegler News/COVID-19 updatesChevron that denotes content that can open up.
