Charles Barkley once grabbed 33 rebounds against his former team, the Phoenix Suns, while he was on the Houston Rockets.

Charles Barkley missed an opportunity to win a championship with the Philadelphia 76ers as he was drafted two years too late. In merely his second game as a Houston Rocket, Sir Charles went off for 20 points and a whopping 33 rebounds. With him, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Clyde Drexler on the same squad, it was looking as though the Larry O’Brien ran through Houston, even before the defending champions in Chicago.

Charles Barkley Predicts Kansas Will Win The National Title (Heartland College Sports)

Charles Barkley told a national TV audience that Kansas will win the national championship on Monday after the Jayhawks defeated Villanova on Saturday.

Jayhawks forward Jalen Wilson added 11 points. Villanova cut the Kansas lead to six points with about six minutes left, but guard Christian Braun helped the Jayhawks pull away with a pull-up jumper and two 3-pointers in the final five minutes, part of his 10 points, all of which came in the second half. Barkley’s comment came a few minutes after the conclusion of the Jayhawks’ 81-65 win over the Wildcats. Kansas will make its first national title game appearance since 2012, which also came in New Orleans and ended with a loss to Kentucky.

Charles Barkley proclaimed after seeing the Kansas Jayhawks beat the Villanova Wildcats in the Final Four that Bill Self's team will win the whole thing.

Even though the winner will be playing for a national championship, it would be awfully hard to get off the emotional roller coaster that is beating an arch-rival in the Final Four. This is a big reason why Kansas could potentially win it all. North Carolina in the Final Four with Coach K’s coaching future up in the air will be as captivating as it will be emotionally draining. They’re going to win the national championship.”
