But I’m part of it — it’s never about, ‘They’ve got to do better,’ or ‘They’ve got to do better’ — it’s always, ‘We’ve got to be better.’ And I’m the first one that’s part of that.” “If that’s being more efficient, passing the ball, rebounding — just doubling down on your role, whatever it is — that usually takes out the finger-pointing. … You’re gonna lose games in the NBA,” Clarkson said. It’s always about us trying to play the best basketball we can play,” Gobert said. You guys like it — it’s probably a little refreshing compared to a lot of guys in this league.” I’m not perfect in the way I communicate.

Rudy Gobert Trade Rumors: Mavs Would Have 'Significant Interest ... (Bleacher Report)

The Dallas Mavericks would have "significant interest" in center Rudy Gobert if the Utah Jazz made he.

Utah has reached the playoffs each year with the pair and is set to make its fifth straight postseason this year. The 29-year-old Gobert, a three-time All-Star and four-time All-NBA Team selection, is averaging 15.4 points and an NBA-high 14.6 rebounds in his ninth NBA season. Perhaps a trade could be in the works this offseason if the Jazz fail to make a dent in the playoffs, although it isn't as though Utah is uncompetitive with Mitchell and Gobert leading the way.

… The Jazz, who aim to get up 40-plus 3-point attempts a game, made 15 of 44 from beyond the arc. If we’re able to get into the play-in game at full strength, we know we got a shot. "We have to stay in the fight and we have to give ourselves a chance. The Jazz were able to get into transition and outscored Los Angeles 14-2 on fast breaks. … The Lakers went 34 for 58 from 2-point range. "It’s great to have them back, just having that presence on the court … for spacing. "That takes out the finger-pointing if you hold yourself accountable." "The negativity and the losses and all that pressure was more external, but it was not an ideal time to have a five-game losing streak. But, the Lakers couldn’t consistently get enough stops to make it interesting. Just a little bit hurt about not winning the game," Howard said. "I know how important these games are down the stretch. But, the Lakers stayed within striking distance until Gobert slammed down Mitchell’s miss to make it 120-104 with 2:54 to play.

Utah Jazz snap losing streak with win over Lakers (The J-Notes)

The Utah Jazz were in desperate need of a win. Last night, they beat the floundering Los Angeles Lakers by a final score of 122-109.

The Utah Jazz will take wins however they get them. Without either of LeBron James or Anthony Davis, they may be one of the worst. Last night, the Jazz looked themselves again. On the one hand, he only shot 4/11 from the field and 1/6 from downtown. He may not have lit up the scoreboard, but his spacing was still critical for the team’s overall attack. They beat the Lakers by a final score of 122-109.

Jazz rumors: Rival teams ready to pounce on Donovan Mitchell trade (ClutchPoints)

Amid the Utah Jazz's struggles this 2021-22 season, the trade rumors surrounding Donovan Mitchell continue to intensify.

Nonetheless, it is also entirely possible for the team to part ways with Gobert instead and look to acquire a better complementary talent for Mitchell. The team has gone 4-6 in their last 10 games, which saw them drop from third seed to fifth place in the Western Conference standings. And so if this doesn’t end well, this postseason and there’s no reason to think that it will. “I think they’re in trouble because this this thing has run its course and we know there are some tensions that are in that locker room. They have been to multiple playoff runs, but their inability to win and even go deep has raised fears that the partnership has run its course and the team is simply not a championship-caliber squad. Mitchell has seen his name thrown in numerous trade rumors this 2021-22 season.
