Update: The region is no longer under a flood or tornado watch after Tuesday thunderstorms swept through the region. Houston is no longer under a flood watch but parts of Harris County remain under a tornado watch until 10 a.m. Tuesday as thunderstorms continue to pound parts of the region. A tornado watch for the city expired at 8 a.m., but the watch has been extended up until for Chambers and Galveston counties.
