The Texas A&M football team had three former players taken in the USFL Draft. Here's who selected them and when they were selected.

The first Aggie selected in this draft was Avery Gennesy, a player who took the JUCO route before joining the Texas A&M football team in 2014. In those three years, Williams rushed for 1,343 yards and 18 touchdowns in that stretch before going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft. With the Tampa Bay Bandits, Mack will have an opportunity to be one of the best players on the field. Daylon Mack was a four-year defensive tackle for the Aggies who didn’t get an opportunity to start until his senior season. But thankfully for a few Aggies, a new opportunity has opened up that could give them another shot at reaching their football dreams.

Cornerback Delrick Abrams Jr. and linebacker Drew Lewis were chosen during the two-day, 35-round draft. The eight teams in the newly formed league selected from a group of 450-500 players who had already signed contracts to play in the USFL.

Lynch was the Broncos’ first-round pick in 2016. Overall, he played in 37 games at CU, with 18 starts, racking up 193 tackles. Abrams played in 20 games, with 18 starts, for the Buffs from 2018-19, recording 89 tackles and 15 pass breakups.
