A photographer was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after falling off the main stage at the Rams' Super Bowl parade.

In a post to Twitter on Wednesday night, the photographer wrote that she fractured her spine and also wrote on Instagram that she had to stay overnight in the trauma center. Although the video shows Stafford turning around and walking away, it's impossible to know what he was thinking until he actually comments on the situation. The photographer was Kelly Smiley, and as the parade was coming to an end, it appears that Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, asked Smiley to take a picture of them.

Although they might prefer cardinal and gold, today they allowed blue and gold to cover the streets blocking campus. We earned it all the way to the last second. It’s really cool to see L.A. pride as a visitor. I have to walk all the way up around to Jefferson to get in. Thousands of people gathered to celebrate the first victory parade for an L.A. sports team since start of the pandemic. L.A. cheered in front of USC, but some students were upset by the restrictions to get on campus. And then having them come now to USC is kind of sick. But this was the year and I’m glad we did it up until the last second of the fourth quarter. MORE: Lakers tried to do it, we got the Dodgers, but the Rams... they had a shot last year. The Rams parade was certainly exciting for LA, but not as much for some USC students who had trouble getting on campus. I mean, I just came outside my dorm and I’m right here. PICKLE: I love this whole idea.

He did all that while suffering a torn pec early in the game Sunday, which Weddle described as “the worst pain I have ever felt.” “When you retire and you don’t have a Super Bowl (ring), the dream’s dead. Then I left that … to be a kid again and chase a dream I thought was dead, honestly,” Weddle said during his appearance on the show.
